Saint Padre Pio also was a recipient of tremendous beatings by the enemy. Thanks be to God for the many great Saints and Martyrs in Holy Mother Church that continue to give amazing witness to our Faith and inspire us to grow in our Faith each and every day.

Blessed be saint Anthony. If only men like these can be saved, who then can be saved, it seems impossible. When i look around me there is no one like him. God strengthen us against the power of the enemy. Praise Jesus

I said a short prayer to St. Anthony for a small item lost in a busy commercial district during the rush hour. I had my doubts when I said my prayer but asked St.Anthony for forgiveness to my disbelief. The item was then found on a narrow ledge outside the pedestrian walkway inches away from the opening of a manhole. I starred at the lost item completely flabbergasted! I share this as a testimony in hopes that you too can find your lost things by asking for the powerful intercession of St. Anthony.

I loved the part at 34:30... since it talks about being tempted even by good things in order to be lead into despair/frustration of our will by over exerting ourselves to the point if wanting to shun what is holy itself. Love this wisdom of experience. As a former seminarian, this is the council I received from my spiritual director who happens to be a benedictine & they are all about moderation.

It is true, the stronger you are in Christ the less power Satan and his demons have over you. Give your life to Christ. Otherwise you open more doorways for Satan and his demons to come in to your life to control and manipulate you as well as your family. They can do so without you being aware that they are. They will nest in your home if you don't serve God and don't put Him first in your daily life. You will be sifted by demons. God doesn't like people being lukewarm to Him. Like us, He wants a relationship that is fully committed with both feet in. Not one halfway out.

It’s the opposite, a demon doesn’t need to go after those souls who he has already. The holier one is the more attack’s there are by demons.

Thank you for posting this. It is an answer to my prayer. God is using this video on how to renounce Satan/demons, their works, temptations and why God allows it at times. Your faith is being tested. Satan doesn't want you to pray (for yourself, others, nor for souls in purgatory) and especially doesn't want you to become strong in Christ. Satan wants to over power and manipulate you with intense fear so you won't be close to God. He wants you to hate God and make you believe the lie God has forsaken you especially when attacked. Don't fall for this trap. You are redeemed in Christ.

I heard he was saint of lost items. This may sound crazy, but three things I lost,I asked for his help, really not believing anything would happen, until the things so lost, were found,I promised him I would tell others,so that's what I'm doing. I did research on him,sad he died so young. Still guess his spirit is eternal. Some day,I will thank him in person.

You are thinking of St. Anthony of Padua. This is St. Anthony of the Desert, who lived to the old age of 105, about 1000 years earlier.

St Anthony of Padua (in Italy) is the Patron Saint of finding lost items. I wouldn't be surprized if they "tag team" on certain projects! ;-)

After hearing his prayer in Catholic school I used it every time I've lost something (there's been many) and "every time" he has found for me..I lost my diamond engagement ring in a snow bank and found it.Stolen items..FOUND! I rescue/ work with animals and have been asked for help from others to find their pets..FOUND! Never letting me down so he's the only one,but he's been there so much I often wonder if he's my guardian Saint.....he's my dude...lol
