I bought my first GSXR 600, and I was the same way, I was about 22 and I never rode before, I knew how to drive manual cars so it wasnt a shock to me to learn how to use a clutch and shift, But everyday, I would suit up and bootup and drive a few laps around the block, shifting gears, turning ect, then one day it clicked, I said to myself "its just like a car" and I took it on the freeway and drove around and after that I got better. After 5 bikes and 15 years later I still love to ride.

Sorta similar story, I had a yz90 like a really old one that never ran quite right when I was about 6. Didn't go very fast maybe 40, didn't get to ride it much until I was in middle school living with my grandparents. Well after awhile we got a a beat up suzuki sv650 on a trade and since my bike didn't run they figured I wouldn't get that one running. I did and I took it really easy for the first few days then started trying to wheelie it, did well until the skin on my knees suddenly went missing. Fixed the bike up and rode it around beat all to hell for a couple years then they scrapped it when I moved back with in my parents for highschool. Strange enough the next bike I found myself trying to obtain was a GSXR 1300 bank repo for like no money, no one would co sign for the loan and I only need 2 weeks to have all the money. Missed on that but recently decided I like the Zxrs and H2 way more than gsxrs and that story isn't done. They think I didn't learns but I dids.

My first bike was a ninja 250 for 900 bucks. Great little thing, its like the miata of bikes, full throttle in the everywhere, only felt kinda slow after 3000 miles of owning it. ninja 300 or r3/mt03 if you want better 0-60 time but they're double the price or more. Also 250cc is cheap on insurance. Now i have a honda cb600f and its not that much more fun cuz dont have the opportunity to go full throttle most places.

yeah im a crotch rocket freak myself, the H2 is pretty nice, but its overrated compared to the G36 or the konami F11. The clutch is pretty heavy and it barrels drifts like an absolute smoker. The chassis has a little too much play to be considered a sport frame, I wouldnt trust it on zero degree drop turns
