The good thing about not eating junk is, you can cleanse your palate, train it to only crave the nutrient dense foods. It still takes some discipline. Holidays and social events are always the hardest for me. But when I’m home alone, that’s when I thrive on making the healthiest food choices. My ‘dessert’ right now is the same thing everyday-protein ice cream. Frozen strawberries with fairlife ultra reduced fat milk and protein powder, blended in blender. Hasn’t gotten old for about 4 months now.

11:09 Have you tried protein powder, cup or 2 of ice, 1 cup of almond milk, about 30 grams of Xanthan gum, and blend it all together, around 200 calories and depending on your protein powder that’ll be your protein, but the main point is it’ll fill you up for actual hours…..you won’t wanna think about food for at least a couple hours

That sounds decent! I like putting this in a blender: 150g 0% greek yoghurt (Fage brand), 200ml water, 4 ice cubes, 2g salt, 50g frozen raspberries and 10g psyllium husk fibre. Tastes like a really refreshing raspberry milkshake and the psyllium thickens it similar to xantham but the fibre has extra benefits to the xantham

I started intermittent fasting a few days ago and yesterday I stopped eating at 3pm and I was hungry at bedtime 10-11pm so this morning instead of eating at 7am I held out til 9am so last meal was before 5pm. Tomorrow I could eat at 9am but I'm thinking of holding out til 11am. Problem is breakfast is my favorite meal. I just keep in mind that I'm not the only one deciding to think more about what they want later (results) instead of the food now.
