Hi Norcal, I have a HLP4663 that is a L3 chassis and 2 HLR5067s, one of which is a L3 chassis and the other is a L6 chassis. I wanted to swap the L3 light engine from the HLP with the HLR5067 L6 light engine so that I have 2 HLR5067s with completely interchangeable parts. When I try to power on the HLR5067 with the L3 engine from the HLP, the ballast does not attempt to fire. Is there something I am missing or is the L3 light engine from the HLP not compatible with the HLR series? The L3 engine from the HLP is BP91-01707B, the L3 engine from my HLR is BP91-01707G, and the L6 engine from the other HLR is BP91-01847J. Thanks for all these great videos!

I was replacing the color wheel on my HLR6168 and the plastic of the male end deteriorated on the board. I was able to plug in the connector from the color wheel to get it to work. That is, until this last time that I went to change out the color wheel again. Instead, it came off of the board entirely. I currently have a large paperweight in my living room because of this one small, yet vital connector. Do you, by chance, know which connector size, pitch and whatnot I would need to order up to have it replaced? I know it's a micro right-angle, single row, 4-pin with only three wires active (from the female). I have someone that can do the reconnection, but we're stumped on that one little part. Thanks.

I have an HLP6163w with a bad DMD board. Do you have them or repair them? How much? I too love the DLP sets and want to fix mine.

Hi! I have a question about DLP sets, do they have a delay time, like for example how LCDs have 5ms, 2ms delay.

Yeah i have an samsung dlp tv and after about an hour it starts flickering or flashing then it shows as if it's a xray of sorts not a lot of detail model # HLT5075SX/XAA VERSION PD01
