I am a chef from Mexico, and I csn tell you, soya sauce its more traditional in a carne asada than what we think. We simply called Maggi at home, and yes, it makes the steak taste even better, it is also very common to use Worcestershire sauce, or both, mixed. Therefore, I agree with Sam, it maje steak taste better. Thanks for the recipe.

I think every single kitchen on earth has some kinda strong tasting salty/sweet brown sauce to give things their extra punch. In Switzerland we even have a yellowish msg-salt seasining thing called aromat.. does the same thing, maybe saltier.. but it's not just salty, it's that wholsome taste.. well msg. You know the deal.

I’ve been in Cody’s shoes, and I know exactly how he feels. I was a Combat Engineer in the Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq twice. Part of my job was to find IEDS and weapons caches. Though I loved my job and I truly did enjoy it, there were times where I didn’t really think I was going to make it back to the states alive. You took it day by day. When you finally come back from a mission, whether it’s from a day long mission to a 3 week one all you want is real food. I remember having a home cooked meal with an Iraqi family in Fallujah. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, I don’t know why but maybe because it felt like home... KZbin wasn’t really popular back then, however, it would have been awesome to watch your videos. Sometimes when you have a rough day all you want is some time to yourself. Time to reflect, time to be normal... For Cody, your videos bring him solace...it gives him a piece of home. For me at the time it was a nice hot cup of coffee... Another great video Sam! Can’t wait to try it. And for our boy Cody, keep your head on a swivel!

That burrito looks delicious! Thank you Cody for your service. ❤ My dad was in the Army for 20 yrs. And he died as a result of Agent Orange. My son is in the Air Force and was injured in Afghanistan. I am truly grateful for your service. Thank you so much Sam for you always honoring the military.
