Instant Pot Initial Water Test

The Instant Pot initial water test will let you know that your pressure cooker is working properly, and help you get familiar with your new Instant Pot.
In this video I go over the steps to take, and show you the various parts of the Instant Pot and what they do.
I also go over Quick Release and Natural Release.

I remember when I had to use my Fagor pressure cooker on the stove top. These Instant pots are great. Very easy to use. Thanks for the advice!

Your video is great. I’ve had my Instant Pot Duo Plus 3 qt. “Mini” for about 6 months and have been trying some of your 3 qt. recipes. Are you going to add more of them? Would love to see basic pot roast and/or stew recipes and cheesecake using 4” or 6” pans.
