Story 1: This is one of the greatest Karen shutdowns i've ever heard. This guy playing Santa did an amazing job by staying in character the whole time, going the extra mile for the little boy and shutting down this Karen. Hopefully that Karen gets enough coal in her stocking to empty out a Kentucky mine, and hopefully the little boy had a great Christmas after this. I just don't get how some people like that Karen are allowed out in public. Story 2: Stuff like this is more common then many think... many exchange students are great, but there are some that are just awful and do things like this. However, a lot of those exchange programs have zero tolerance for things like partying and bullying and the like. If Nadia's parents didn't get her sent back home, then the people running the program probably would've. Glad the OP protected her sister over this bully. Story 3: I just dont get why the super religious have to be so rude and high and mighty like that, when they are better then anyone else. Honestly, i dont know why the OP even humoured Amy with her ring. People like that aren't worth your breath. Glad that the OP is happy though, she sounds much happier then Amy. Story 4: Good job on the OP for blocking off the window for that stupid Karen. The old lady seemed pretty nice about everything, so i honestly dont get what the deal was with the Karen. Some people are just knobs. Story 5: Why should the OP bend to the roomies needs? And 70 degrees is really not that cold.... so i dont know what her problem is. Story 1: I can't believe how entitled that grown ass woman was being. That Santa is legendary for the way her put her in her place! Story 2: Good for OP, protecting her sister! I really can't find any fault in the way she handled this, Nadia is the one who decided to go to a party and drink, and now she can face her own consequences. All OP did was share what she herself did. Story 3: I hate those high and mighty religious people. If OPs little lie made her life a bit more miserable, I'm all for it! Story 4: The kid was being a bratty. The way OP went about this was extremely petty, but the kid deserved it for being a jerk. Story 5: I know 2 people who are fighting anorexia and temperatures have absolutely nothing to do with it. I feel like the roommate is using anorexia as an excuse to get her way. I saw a comment saying the pair should by an electric blanket for the roommate, which I think is a great solution to their problem. Story 6: Those 'friends' are leeches. Story 2: Right? Also, assuming she was part of a foreign exchange program, when you go sign up to be part of the foreign exchange program the different organisations run you and your family often sign legally binding documents that state that you won't break the laws of the country you're sent to and should it be found out you have broken the laws and it's resulted in bad press for the company you're liable for X amount of money as compensation. The religious organisation's foreign exchange programs especially have an iron clause protecting their image and putting all the responsibility onto the legal/bio family of the student. So by going to the party and getting wasted underage she knowingly broke her contract with the foreign exchange program, broke the law of the state and/or country she was in, brought shame to the host family and her legal/biological family, and embarrassment to the school she attended. No wonder her parents withdrew her immediately and sent her back home. If she was actually concerned about her strict parents she wouldn't have left her social media tagging feature on. Story 3: The "pious" who think their religion/faith gives them free rein to judge everyone around them are abhorrent and clearly have never read the very religious doctrine they claim to believe in. Wasn't it God's only son who said both "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and the second commandment "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"? I mean if the God she prays to is saying to be a good person and to be as kind and loving to others as you are to God, wouldn't that mean she's going against the very religions teachings she claims to adhere to? Story 5: Feeling extreme temperature changes are an issue if your immune system is damaged in some way, which her immune system may be shot because she's had an ED for a long period of time and her body is working overtime trying to get back to some semblance of healthy. But OP and you are right, she could just throw on a jumper/sweater, or blanket. Being a little cold is easily fixed with fabric and warm fluids, being too hot is far harder to fix. I don't agree with the narrator of this video, I don't think it was "too blunt". Higher temperatures can have an adverse reaction on your immune system, especially if the body is already in a dire situation due to the lack of nutrients it needs to keep running. So while the roommates skin may feel a chill with the air-con on, her internal temperature will be sitting in a far more optimum spot than if she lets the house heat up. 70°F (21°C) is far more healthy than 90°F (32°C) long term. Story 6: The "friends" aren't OP's friends, they were just using OP and now that OP isn't jumping to their every command they're upset and throwing tantrums like petulant children. They are grown adults who made the informed conscious choice to get drunk, knowing full-well that OP wasn't going to be their designated driver yet again. That's a choice, a dumb one that will cost them money and they're probably embarrassed about, but it's their choice that they made and they have to deal with the consequences of their actions. I'm just glad OP knows now that these people were just using OP and they can now move on and find friends who don't feel the need to get so drunk they're vomiting regularly, and don't constantly use those around them. Also, let's say money is an issue for Tom (he asked OP to pay for the cleaning from his vomit, and to pay his mother for babysitting his kids - her grandkids - because his wife had to get his drunk ass) why is he drinking so much alcohol every month that he's completely intoxicated?

the fact that this woman picked on a child for having a speech impediment after having not spoken for a while is baffling to me. even if she didn't get to hear the part about how he doesn't talk much, picking on any kid for something like this is just terrible. the kid's enjoying his conversation with Santa, the Santa's enjoying listening to his kid, just leave them be and wait for them to finish up. and what's worse is that she also yelled at the op for just doing their job and reminding Santa that it's time for his break. Story 5: Anorexia isn't a disability, it's a disorder so nobody can really be ableist about it. OP said she's sympathetic to her situation and doesn't discriminate her for having anorexia. If the roommate is so "irritated" by the cold, she can set up blankets in her room so she can become warmed quicker, then it's a win win situation for both of them. You can't do anything to cool yourself down from being too hot, but there are ways to warm yourself from being too cold. I'd try looking for a new place to stay/new roommate quickly because the roommate can't seem to compromise.

The first story reminded me of my day at a disney-themed fair. Cinderella bitch-slapped a mother that was screaming and hitting her daughter because she wet herself. The kid was like 4, and when I took charge of escorting her into the infirmary, she explained that mommy didn't let her go use the public portable restrooms because "they were filthy and smelly". As the nurse is checking her for injuries, I look at the camera app on my phone and just look what happens to the mother. She was restrained by security, and then zip-tied. The hilarious part was when I saw Mickey Mouse (AKA the manager for that disney-sponsored event) dragging the mother out of the fair in front of everyone by the leg while she was screaming. The mother was then taken in by police. The father came to pick up his daughter. He was very, very angry, but to my surprise, he didn't scream at the daughter or at the staff; his anger was exclusively aimed at his ex. We sat him down, explained the situation, and explained that due to the public display of violence, we would have to report the event to child protective services, to which he fully agreed. Never knew what happened to the kid after that, but I sure hope her father fought teeth and nails to have full custody of his child.

I always carry a gem loupe with me whenever I’m going garage sailing wi try the wife because I’ve found “old costume jewelry” that was actually antique jewelry that I was able to purchase for a good price and usually get some of the other stuff also to help them with sales because until doing serious research on the specific piece at home I can’t know a definite value at site so I pay what they’re asking generally unless it is obviously over priced then I’ll offer what I’m willing to gamble on it.

Reminds me of a roommate who was pregnant but planned to get rid of it so she partied it up while pregnant. She constantly changed the temp of the small apartment to a point I moved my reptiles somewhere else and kept my water snails in my room. One day I come home and she turned it to 103. I freaked put thinking the apartment on fire and she said no she was cold. Checking on babies she boiled my snails alive. I cried for them. Later on she asked what I'd do with them cause they looked like poached eggs and she was craving it. Couldn't move out fast enough
