My partner and I practice this together. I love that it is straight forward and starts right into the yoga instead of a lengthy introduction about self-promotion. She speaks calmly and gives quiet time in each posture to listen to our own bodies. It's about practice, and not celebrity. Even though my partner and I are at totally different levels and have very different low back issues, this sequence works for both of us. I'll be using more of her videos.

This 30 minutes has changed my life. I am an active and fit 66 year old woman with arthritis and scoliosis. In the past 6 years, pain has been stopping me from what I love to do most. I have been practicing yoga for most of my life but now realize it was the not the best yoga for my present condition. I am now biking, swimming, hiking, etc again with 80% less pain and loving life. Thank you so much! PS please release updated versions so I can trade off.

Started doing yoga when the pandemic started and found your videos for low back pain beginner yoga. It has been a Godsend as I have suffered from the drs. say, arthritis in my spine with referred pain to my hip in my back. It has hurt without relief for at least 8 years perhaps more. I am active, walk daily, hike, and no relief. I have done physical therapy, chiropractor care - no relief. Doing just 15-30 min about 5 days a week has eliminated about 85% of the pain. (my kids tried to get me to do yoga with them for years and I resisted. they love it now and enjoyed the I told you so) It has just been life changing. I tell everyone and tell them to do SarahBethYoga. Your videos are easy to follow and your tempo is just right for me.

Totally agree. Osteoarthritis through lower back to hip, back injury - yoga is all I can find for relief. Love the straightforward attitude of Sarah Beth’s practise ❤️

My lower back was hurting since yesterday and I was/am already sick of it. I cannot imagine having to endure that kind of pain for years!!! Hope you are doing well now. I have a month long trekking trip planned from Monday, so I was/am feeling a bit anxious for my recovery. Fingers crossed. 🤞

I have a horse farm that I run on my own. And I’m 62 years old. At times I get almost to where I cannot move - although I love what I do. When I remember to do the yoga - - which is beyond me why I don’t do it every day - - I begin to be able to move normally. Thank you Sarah Beth for your wonderful videos. I call you “doctor yoga.”

Thank you so so much! I had only tried yoga about 3 times and never liked. That was before my back was hurt. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and someone in a Fb group highly recommended you. I've been using this video every morning for about 2-3 weeks and it's helped heal my lower back pain I've been suffering with. The low-back damage came from improper weightlifting and I had enough of the pain. Chiropractor work has helped a lot but not completely, this video has been the trick. I did try other back pain yoga videos but ultimately came back to this one to help with my back. I now use this as a weekly maintenance practice to ensure I'm still feeling better in my lower back. Thank you for this video!

I have chronic lower back and sciatica pain. I have been followed your video and practice the yoga for 2-3 years now. My son recently dx of mild scoliosis. He is now also joining me to practice. I love Sarabeth calm voice and very clear instructions on how to do the yoga. I thank you for your videos. You help us tremendously to improve the chronic pain and I also feels more calm, less anxious, less stressful.

After childbearing 2 children very close together it was found that I have a missing disc between my L5 and S1 as a result I suffer from chronic back pain especially after a long day. Your videos give me relief better than any medication, thank you so much for reintroducing me to the powers of my own body through yoga. I've been trying yoga over and over for a couple years for back pain. Lately I've just been doing it through youtube every morning and it just wasn't my thing. This video was the first time it clicked. You have a great instructional style or something. 30 minutes flew by and I feel great!

I wrenched my back throwing out the trash. It was a simple movement, but pain was immediate on my lower left side of my back. My back then locked up and stiffness ensued. I started with your 5 min for lower back pain, and after 3 days, I was finally up to trying the 30 min. Video for back pain. It’s amazing!! Thank you so much. My chiropractor just retired and I did not know what I was going to do. You are a blessing to me. ❤️

I have the patience of a gnat and 20 minute yoga is about all I have in me. Even this 30 minute is too long (holding poses too long) and I just get up and do something else. Sounds like I have more than back issues! I do LOVE the 20 minute hip opening and full body flow!

I feel stiff in the mornings and don't want to take too much ibuprofen, so I try to stretch more. This is a very gentle practice that made me feel better.

I have chronic pain and fatigue issues and I need to do strengthening exercises and I found your video. Today I was only able to get through the first 5 minutes, but it's still 5 minutes more than yesterday and I plan to keep trying a little every day. I've done this practice many many times over the years. probably over 50 times now. it's so easy, but every time it works like a charm, it's amazing! I know it off by heart and it's not challenging, yet I keep coming back to it over and over again! Sarah Beth, thank you so much. You use your superb knowledge of human body for good. With my seditary lifestyle I would've died by this time if it weren't for yoga in general and this specific video in particular. Usually by the time we get to the reclining pigeon (my favourite pose of them all!) i can literally feel the pain leaving my lower back. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I did a strenuous exercise routine - out of the ordinary for me - and I knew I was going to pay for it, but did it anyway! Since then, for the past couple of days, I’ve been dealing with awful back pain - so much so that I caved and took an ibuprofen! (I hate popping pills for anything - it’s been YEARS since I took an ibuprofen!!) I did a yoga routine with another instructor on YT and felt little, to no, relief. Then I found this video and WOW what a difference!! Although I still have some minor level of pain (but very manageable now), the decrease in my pain is substantial after this routine!! I will be doing this routine *every*single*day* until my body gets back to normal!! I also followed your suggestion of sitting at my computer in the figure 4 fold with my legs, which was also a game changer! Thank you!! Thank you!! 🙏🙏 🙌

I injured my back 9 months ago.. after doing this AM & PM for only a day my back shifted back into place. I no longer have back pain! Ps I was a yoga hater for so long! I never understood the hype. Her style really gets me right though.. no bs just straight to it!! Thank you 💯💯💯

This is a great video! I threw my back out and was looking for something nice and easy and slow like this as a massage therapist this is perfect for people who have a back spasm. I will forward this video to my clients always best to ice the first 24 hrs. Wait a day or so before doing this. It’s excellent!

This was the first time I've did yoga and it was exactly what I needed because for the last three days I've been waking up with back pain from change of weather. Its a very calming workout I love it thank you

I started doing this routine about 3 years ago to deal with a flare up of a heriated disc. After a few weeks the pain was gone and I stopped. Another flare up about a year ago brought me back to doing this routine. Now I do it once a week to keep things in check.

I’m a beginner and I am on a 20 day challenge with my daughter and son to do yoga every day and one cardiovascular exercise a week for at least 30 minutes. Thank you for your videos. I have back problems and shoulder problems so the lower back really helps!

I just did yoga today for my back pain . Eventhough I didn't finish this whole video I already feel the effectiveness of this yoga. I don't feel any back pain immediately. I was so amazed . Definitely will do this and follow all of your yoga videos. Thank you so much 🥰

This made me think of more of what my body needs and it’s limits, thank you for helping me relax my tension areas such as my lower back, inner thighs, knees, and arms. I’m I found this video your music makes me think I’m outside on a log doing this with your soft voice. On a log with an open lake and a mountain pulling me in, as you sink you feel more relax and calm as if your breathing is just a soft gust of wind.

I’ve had lower back pain for many years. After just a few of these practices I’m pain free! I practice 2-3 times per week to strengthen and stretch my back and I’m staying pain free! Thank you SB❤
