Ha, I would do anything to avoid vuvuzelas. But they are not forbidden (perhaps because they should have died out long ago). Air-horn to my ear, not cool but whatever. Vuvuzela - hell no! I think here we are pretty liberal with stuff fans can bring in. Hardcore fans travel with drums (that were not allowed in some stadiums abroad) and big-ass flag that covers a whole seating section. On a serious note, no one checks what's on the banners, so there were some insulting slogans in the past. Nothing compared to football, though.

aneikrust alot of the signs or banners now are checked so that they are not defaming a player ot team. People have gotten creative using emojis on their signs to describe the other team or players. I remember in wrestling, during the 90's, everyone brought in a sign or banner with some crazy stuff on it. Now, its just grown adults with a sign reading "need money for beer. Venmo: yourwifespoolguy".

Not for nothing but some people are losing their minds with Hollywood pay gaps. There's an actual problem there but we always get the most ridiculous examples to prove that point. Jessica chastain complaining that she was paid less than Matt Damon for the Martian for example. Really? You're in the movie for about 8 minutes in a role that could be played by anyone. Matt Damon was the lead in a movie that either sinks or swims solely based on his performance and box office draw. It would be like Helen hunt complaining that tom hanks was paid more for castaway. Im not much of a walhberg fan but he's a global superstar that has led billion dollar franchises and can sell tickets to movies just from his name being attached to them. Michelle Williams is a tremendous talent but she has no star power(yet). Anyone thinking I'm saying this in defense of men, I'm not. I feel the same way about women with huge star power and or being the lead in a movie, they should be paid more than their counterparts. A movie like the post for example, Meryl Streep should earn more than tom hanks and he's a big selling point for the movie just from his name being attached but at the end of the day it's her movie(she's the lead). People need to have some perspective.

That "accommodating" bit hit close to home for me. I have a boyfriend but recently bumped into an old ex-boyfriend with whom I was on good terms. He asked for my number and I told him I had a boyfriend. He said, well just as friends, then. The situation felt awkward so I gave him my number so as not to seem rude. As soon as I got to my boyfriend's place I told him what had happened and that I wished I had given him a fake number. My boyfriend and I take honesty very seriously because every single woman he's been with has cheated on him. I considered not telling him but then realized if I ever got a call from the other guy when my boyfriend was in the room, I'd have some 'splaining to do. So even though I told him I had no intention of spending any time with this person, he agonized over it for days, convinced it was the end of our relationship. If I had just held my ground I never would have mentioned I bumped into my ex because there would be no reason to. So standing your ground is good.
