There's already a tarantula looking spider ornament on the tree. Hey Chris, I was thinking that reducing the letter X to a word, starting with the letter O, could mak use of the letter Z? It took me a while to really appreciate Billie's music. I'm outside of her core demographic, as a soon to be 45 year old male Gen X-er, but the more I learn about Billie and her brother Finneas and their creative process, it's given me a lot of respect for the hard work they put in to make their art. It's astonishing to me just how much control over her own image she's had since the beginning. All the stuff Billie does in her music videos is her idea, and she for sure knows what she wants.

Hello Terry but music is not like that these days :-/ Billie, unfortunately, is a literal industry plant- unlike any we’ve ever seen. If you do even a little bit of research on who she is or who her family is, you will quickly (and unfortunately) come to the conclusion that many modern day artists were predestined for fame and “talent”. And by talent, I mean collaboration with the right individuals who are already successful, and by fame, I mean handouts and pressures from her family. These are not the days of Simon & Garfunkel. Those who are truly talented get lost in the weeds of Disney child celebrities and daughters of famous music industry managers. Unfortunately, Terry, music is not what it used to be :(

@@matthewhopkins5701 I’d disagree. She definitely had certain privileges but her success came organically after Ocean Eyes was a viral hit and her first EP was met with such good reception. I’m only 18 of course so I don’t know the old days you are referring to, but I love Simon and Garfunkel and Billie. I think we should be able to enjoy music from every era. Billie is very talented bottom line and deserves her success. Is there other people out there just as deserving not receiving the same attention? Absolutely. But that’s not her fault.

@@matthewhopkins5701 Ha. FYI Paul Simon's father was a band leader and Art Garfunkels father was an actor. Sounds like music is exactly what it used to be. But hey, those who fail will always find a way to blame it on others.

its good to see her branch out from what people would call her "brand", to see that she isn't going to get stuck in the rut that seems to end so many careers early... you just have to look back at how many singers or bands are one hit wonders to see what i mean. i'm hopping she turns into another jack of all trades, through the years... at least in the time span i'm still kicking to enjoy her work.... lol.. have a wonderful life young lady, don't ever take anything too seriously and ty for sharing both your good and bad times with us... in what you do we see allot of ourselves, what we can be, could be or even were... inspiration is a wonderful teacher.

@@hiihaveanexistence2124 Yeah I don't get it either. I think every 10 decades tweens and teens do a random lottery on who they will pick to be their phenom for the decade. I believe her and brother produce their own music as well so that stands out about her. She doesn't really collab with other producers but her self. At least for now. that will change when she gets older and more irrelevant.

I feel like we'll physically see Billie evolve as she does mentally/emotionally. That's beautiful bc she goes about it unapologetically, she confronts & admits it. So many artists, musicians, actors try to apologize for who they were, almost deny it. They were who they were in that time & that's nothing to apologize for or deny. We've seen Billie grow from a 15yr old child to who she is today. I love that. It's refreshing.

I fell in love with Billie when I saw her as the musical guest a few years ago. I actually LOVE her music as well as her style and personality - and I'm an old Boomer! She killed it here as host. I loved the monologue and the Christmas Eve sketch was one of the best bits on SNL in a LONG time! She is a natural - her comic timing is incredible. And Kudos to her MOM and DAD and brother Finn eas... Very cool that she's been so tight with them when so many tweeners and teens lack positive parental and adult love and guidance! I pray Billie continues to stay so well grounded as she SOARS to new heights! Billie, you're a joy in my life!

@@UkeCan1 I probably would call a male person under 25 or so a boy. From technical biological terms most of us are not fully finished becoming an adult until the 29's. This varies with the person of course. Because I am over 40 years older than a 20 year old I might refer to some one in their 20s as a girl or boy. I can't speak for anyone else, zi have no derogatory intent in this reference.

Actually it’s not true almost all of her songs are about happiness , future, hope, love, or catchy badass songs Etc .. she just writes about her life and life is often very hard .. Adele last album 30 is about her divorce 😅 i cried so much for that album … but THIS IS REAL MUSIC.. music of the past was almost always like this “depressed” .. this is real and authentic music .. and the problem is the pop music of the last 20 years that has taken away that beauty, that deep emotional artistic key …. But she changed the game with her experimental pop music she is changing the game … I mean she is the 2nd best selling female artist in the world after Taylor Swift for 4 years .. even last year without new album, just 2 albums and 1 Ep, she surpassed Beyoncé, Adele Etc .. 😅 she is the 3rd most streaming artist in history! And she is the youngest! Her authentic music and her emotional voice is a revolution and we this world need more artists like her in pop music like in the past century … More deep, real, authentic and at the same time innovative, interesting music. After Amy Winehouse, Norah jones Etc in this century I found Billie … she is a gem in that and this world!
