Hopefully they address the door handles. I saw they got rid of the touch buttons on the steering wheel in the GV70 and went back to regular buttons for 2023MY.

The door pops open but doesn’t open all the way is a safety feature. You don’t want some random car driving the down street taking your door off if you are street parked and getting out of your car.

9:35 Thank you for the dual injection discussion in terms of rattling noises at low RPM. The Mercedes 4 cylinder c250 of 2012-1014 sounded almost like a diesel at low RPM.

I'm really curious to see how the new air suspension feels compared to the existing one, and what difference the active noise canceling makes. One thing I thought was odd is that although my G90 is very quiet, it isn't unbelievably so. My previous Genesis sedan was noticeably quieter after I added more sound dampening materials all over the place, so I know there is room to go.

Once again, stellar performance on your review. FYI - I am a fan of the Hyundia KIA driving technology. I think it is second to Tesla. I am referring to the HDA (Highway Drive Assistance). I drive about 4000 to 4500 miles per month previously in Telluride, currently in a K5. My next ride will be either the G70 or G80. Thanks for what you do for us!

incredible, but great, that the manufacturers have given up on trying to solve the DI build up issue and going back to dualportinjection. ford did it on all their ecoboost engines, the koreans are now following.

Ever-more complicated technology and more resource investment just to drive an ideological agenda into extremely diminishing returns. True genius improves through simplicity. Nurturing abundance is the way. Instead we have a demon couple from hell: capitalist scarcity teamed up with ecofascist scarcity in a pretend-opposition for perfect divide-and-conquer entrapment into servitude of Master Fear.

@@paulpellico3797 Yeah, I guess the older used models get sold to other regions of the world. And of course as more time passes, pre-surveillance models get ever-rarer. They'd rather sacrifice safety technology before they sacrifice data harvesting technology. The power priorities are clear. It really saddens me because I cannot get comfortable with used cars, especially very old ones, and I got my own not roadworthy in a garage, cannot imagine a better era (2000, with older engine) and don't see a prospect for getting it in proper condition anymore. I don't even know whether I could if I wanted or need to move away. I put a lot of devotion into it but was then robbed of the fruits, now feeling like I will end up not ever owning a car anymore.

The service experience is a concern. The Kia/Hyundai shops I've been in have had more in common with a Mexican post office than a Mercedes or Lexus service department.
@aprtur2 жыл бұрын
This is a huge concern - the customer service experience is a massive part of ownership, and Lexus is big on the "concierge" part, from IS to LS. Mercedes seems to do this well also, and BMW is hit or miss. Apparently the few stand alone Genesis dealers do this right, but that seems to be far from the norm. I wouldn't want to spend that much money and have a sub-par service experience every time an oil change is due.
