9:03 I don't know if it is important but it seems like there is a metal wire in the assembly lube on the right hand side watching the video and when you put the metal bit on top of it you can see it clearly! And when you finish with the part it seems like it is still in there!

Had one of these for years and basically lived in it, absolutely loved every minute (think it’s the better car over the V10), great to see one dissected in detail and restored with some real talent and attention, many thanks, look forward to more progress

Well done! The timing chains are crucial, hope that you are not flying blind without a factory manual, since you have all the torque specs assume you do. Only concerned using a filter wrench to torque Cam ends as the factory tool locks in to ensure no movement as timing is dead accurate, not sure if the motor is a interference type either?

Hi Dean, at 22.21 when you’re putting the second cam in the first head there is what looks like swarf or something, it even casts a shadow. It was stuck in the tacky rebuild fluid when you put the cam down…..

The engineer in me wanted to trim off that silicon sealant inside the oil pump cover...I was expecting the oil pump to be gear driven. I think the engine designer had a chain and tensioner fetish...Less is more. Fascinating rebuild though, a vapour blasting machine would be so useful on some of those covers...🤔😳😳😏😏🇬🇧
