According to a CDawg interview on his side channel with Jojo English VA's from Parts 4 and 5. They had trouble taking Zipper Man seriously, (I don't think Ray Chase was there, but ) although mentioning how some work well like Emperor Crimson. (I remember for Part 5 the voice of Giorno, Abbacchio, and Diavolo were there. And of Part 4 had Yukako's and Reimi's)

They prefer watching things in their own language. This is why dubs exist. When Japan watches life action Hollywood movies like the Marvel movies, they watch them dubbed in Japanese. Because they don't want to spend all that time reading subtitles. That reasoning applies to your average dub watcher. If you took away the option to watch dub, they might not watch the thing at all.

@@fossilfighters101 eh, ppl have different opinions, besides the main reason the localized names sounds off to most people is simply because they got used to the og name, and therefore are biased I was actually chatting with my girlfriend earlier, she hasn’t seen Jojo, and I gave her some localized and og names and asked which she preferred without telling her which was the og, when I got to Zipperman/Sticky Fingers, she said she preferred Zipperman. That alone is proof it isn’t automatically a bad name Btw I’m not trying to start an argument or anything, I’m just saying what I honestly think
