Another story that's the beginning, chapter one, of a longer story. When the hand extended in friendship is swatted away, and destruction results, what do the attackers expect to occur afterwards? They started something they didn't fully understand, with a species they didn't know. Now, with nothing but fear as a companion, they flee from the very thing they started, against a species born of wars. They broke all of the windows without contemplating the consequences of their actions. Now the owners have come seeking retribution for their erant ways. And they are pissed!

aye , while i do adore the 'noble savages' trope.. the stories where humans doess some hairs edge from being helpless pacifists and only survives either due to so op tech its silly or has so thick plot hide its boring , or gets civilization wide ptsd they ignored over some previous butchery gets very dull very fast but a humanity or 'gaia species' that gives everyone a fair chance ,but do seek to repay in kind for despots of exterminators that not changes.. is far more delicious blend of poetic justice and real life pragmatic greyness

An excellent story, but it seems unfinished. Is there a second part? Is this the beginning of a series? I, for one, would have some sharp questions for the alien organization------if they were so "civilized" and had so many rules, then why did they do nothing when the Thriven attempted to destroy Humanity? Then I would tell them that the war would end when the Thriven were extinct. And if they didn't like it we cold deal with hem just as well. If this is a stand alone story, it needs a better ending. It feels entirely incomplete. You have to bring your story to a close, not just end it in mid sentence. - What is really interesting is that this kind of thing could shape Humanity's destiny. If out first experience with alien life was with an enemy and near extinction, then it would make humanity react with extreme violence. We could well become the boogy man of the galaxy: hard, materialistic, and without mercy when dealing with others. I could well imagine this being the history of the beginning of an empire.

@@OptimusWombat although I could be wrong that these stories are AI generated I’m pretty sure that they are. The three main reason for me are #1. the sheer amount of stories that are put out on this channel #2. the similarities of the stories themselves #3. the style in the way they are written. I guess there could be a writer out there with this style of writing but dang don’t you think he would be exhausted….and how would he get paid for so many stories, I don’t think a channel with 32k subscribers could afford it. But don’t get me wrong I do like listening to these stories AI generated or not they are very entertaining. I think this the future of KZbin.
