Perhaps there is an even greater cycle at play here. Perhaps what Humanity had assumed was the first cycle (the one where they found themselves alone in the universe) was really the last cycle, because after countless cycles they never did find another worthy civilization, and after countless resets they found themselves alone, having extinguished everyone else.

A real neat premis. Maybe being alone isn't so bad after all. Maybe the Universe knew what it was doing by letting the humans be alone. If it ain't right after 113 universes, what makes humans think 114 will be any better? At some point they have to say, enough is enough, and decide to stay alone.

That makes it sound so small though... ^^;; It would be more accurate to say we became gods when our empty universe died, so we decided to remake it in our vision (the same as before, but with other life out there) and try again. And again...and again...and again...

How sad would this future be? Our species lived for god knows how many years (A trillion trillion? A googol? More?) only to find we were completely alone in terms of intelligence. At the end of the universe we essentially became gods and decided to do it all again, only this time not being alone. But turns out that even after 112 tries all we found in other intelligent life was death and destruction.

They all source these stories from Reddit. Most are AI written with different parameters. That’s why you see multiple channels with the same series titles, just different AI voices. All in all, I find this fascinating. 😊
