Orange Trump tried and his own military told him to put it off til next year because it cost too much. Nonsense. He should've told them to stfu, strap it on and put together a good-sized parade, M-1s, fly-overs and the whole deal.

but you can't escape the fact that all Scots were white; from white history and culture of those days long ago, Protestant Reformation; wars with England; wars alongside England(!); they present a certain culture. That culture will not continue if enough non-white Scots populate from far-flung islands with nothing in common, religion, history, looks, culture, etc. We are enjoying that obvious lesson in the colonies thanks to our politically correct, bilge spewing, lying leftists in this country since the 1960s. Culture and race is important, and you don't have to a "racist" to acknowledge the obvious fact.

I remember as a kid I read the story of Black watch troops in the war with Germany, I think it was WW1, they were basically out of ammo and overnight they shined up there bayonets and in the morning charged the Germans with a Bagpiper in the lead and routed the Germans, great story for a young High School kid In America.

+eogg25 Dad used to tell me a story his great father told him about ww1, where an English general was leading a platoon of Australians and some Scotsman from the previous british regiment, and they were all in a trench taking cover. The english general got the call to charge, he anounced that, and the scots all clabered up and ready to climb out and fight, we Australians cautiously joined and said "what about support, no artillery or support will surely get us killed" (this was later on, when stories of obsolete english generals led troops to slaughter, ie Galipoli) the General threatened them with desertion, but the scots speak "ah fuck with them, atleast we die, I wont fucking stand around English anymore, aint that enough for you Australian?" the Aussies replied "well if i die charging, I need a decent drinking buddy to be merry in heaven, you better keep up then" then charged. (this was passed down generation and i was told this so long ago, so please take it with a grain of salt)

My father was in the Black Watch. The Black Watch were cannon fodder: They were the regiment the English sent in to find out where the enemy gun emplacements were. He had to wear a kilt, but was never issued underpants. He killed and captured many Germans, but he was a kind, gentle man who hated hurting anyone. He hated talking about his war experiences.

Elisabeth Scott same I've always been proud because in history we kicked a lot of ass and in ww1 to fight the Germans we used our helmets and planks of wood with barbed wire and in ww2 how us Dundonians fought against tanks all we had were rifles and bayonets

The Black Watch was so terrifying and effective during the American revolution that a condition of the treaty was that the United States was to be informed if the Black Watch were ever deploy off of their home island.

Yeah. But because all British Regiments regarded the Colonists as there own,They don't carry battle honours of the conflict.
