I decided to do this video a bit differently and show you guys the entire routine. It takes about 13 minutes to complete all 6 pyramid sets so if you want to extend the workout perform 2 rounds of the pyramid sets before the star plank finisher. Routines like this bring intensity at home to a whole new level and for those of you who are short on time, traveling, or just prefer training at home you are going to love this routine! If you have a hard time with the "pistol squats", do them next to something you can hold onto for balance. If you have a TRX at home or something similar, that would be super easy to hold during your reps. Really push yourself guys! The goal of this workout is to complete the pyramids as fast as you can! Crush it! (1:06)- Routine sets & reps - 6 rounds - 4 exercises - Rest as little as possible between exercises Pyramid Sets: - Round 1: 12 reps - Round 2: 10 reps - Round 3: 8 reps - Round 4: 6 reps - Round 5: 4 reps - Round 6: 2 reps (1:17)- Diamond Push-Up (1:37)- Alternating Pistol Squat (2:20)- Half Burpee (3:13)- Reverse Crunch Hip-Thurst To V-Up FINISHER: (13:17)- Star Plank for MAX TIME

I've never been satisfied by a bodyweight training for the legs until I've been able to pistol squat. it's just amazing how much power it needs. Amazing workout Scott!

That 5 min + Star Plank was insane !!! Im finally planking over 2 min on good days and find it helpful to focus on anything but the pain and the clock !

You know that's not easy when in pain and trying to improve time !! :-) Never did the star plank until I seen your Vid. Interesting stuff. 2 min 30 sec combined reg and star plank. Good challenge!

I get some pain in may jaw everytime i do like shoulders movements, handstand pushups, and in this workout i got the pain in the half burpees. but i did it anyway through. this workout is amaizing and im definitely doing it again

Hey Scott, you're getting a bit of dynamic valgus on those pistol squats, may want to consider some motor control exercises for your glute med/min :) It'll reduce your chances of getting things like patellofemoral joint pain

Ah man, my coach makes me do this same style of workouts with burpee, squat jump, press up, squat....as fast as possible for a warmup! Makes you wanna spew haha! Great burner though!

Hi scott, i saw your video on pistol squats. If i start with progression 3 mentioned, will it be ok? Also, does this movement(Pistol squats) creates knee problem or so?

If I'm looking to get that "great body" and I have approximately 16%, would you say I should do a bulking phase first or a cutting phase first?

hey scott, i've been waking up at 6 in the morning to do cardio and i go to the gym daily, after i get home from the gym i do a 20 minute HIIT abs workout but i cant seem to lose any weight, i sleep for 7 hours a day and i eat pretty clean and take in Optimen and BCAA to prevent muscle loss. Is there anything that i might be doing wrong? because in not getting results (i've been doing this for 3 weeks now)

+Raiez Salamat It's either water weight or you're eating too much still. Remember, calories in has to be less than calories out. (Even though this is oversimplified, it's still a pretty good standard).
