I remember watching her sing in that bomb shelter. For a brief moment a child made everyone in that shelter forget about the horrors going on outside and brought them some peace. I have often thought about her and hoped she survived that shelter. Knowing that she did and watching the joy on her face here brought tears to this old man's eyes.

I did cry, when Amelia was singing in basement. I did cry, when she was singing in Poland after she was brought to safety in Poland. I did cry when one of Polish politicians said in interview that there was a secret operation to get out Amelia from Ukraine because "Amelia was a target for ruSSians" as she became one of the symbols of Ukrainian defense. I did cry while watching this video, but this time I did cry because this little, cute girl was so happy, as some of her dreams came true.
