You dont push and pull. That is why so many people learn the flag with an upper bent arm and are so proud of holding a flag that's not even perfect. Push and pull is a HUGE misconception. You're supposed to push with both arms in the same way as in a handstand. The humanflag is essentially a sideways handstand on a pole. Gravity brings your legs downwards and you're supposed to use your obliques to raise the hips and legs to parallel position. You pull with obliques not with arms. You understand?
