The fact that you do not have to spend a ton of money to get a great watch from such an illustrious name is just the best. Seiko will always be my favorite watch brand. They offer something for everyone whether your budget is two digits or five digits. My current daily is a Seiko SUR373. It's a great example of Seiko's ability to go places that microbrands and Chinese brands can't follow. It's titanium and 8mm thin for $200, with a 44GS like case that makes it look like a baby Grand Seiko. Finishing is superb, especially for titanium. Yes, the second hand doesn't line up with the indices, but that's an issue I can easily overlook given the watch's many merits and low price. The knockoff brands might be able to immulate the look, but they can't immulate the compact dimensions. Oh, and even though it's only 8mm thin, it has a screwdown caseback and 100m water resistance.

Aside from the case, hour markers, and hand set everything else appears to be the same. Not having the snkl45, from pictures, it looks like the bracelet fits the snkl45 better. So it has that going for it. Another difference that can be key is the placement of the tiny lume dots. The snk795 has them a top the hour markers. The snkl45 under or more towards the center. The hands differ too with the snkl45 having dauphine and the 795 pencil. I think I prefer the lume dots on top of the hour markers. Which may not matter at all cause the lume is weak. Just seems to visually look better along side the minute hashes. But both are great! And for under 100 even more so.

100 dollars is NOT the actual price they sold for NEW. that's the average price, TODAY but some are higher, on the gray market for NOS that was new in 2013.

@@hotdogh7353 Seiko 5 makes a bunch of watches at this size and look. Cases will vary and dials of all kinds and color. No doubt you’ll find the right one for you. And the price is right for sure.
