I just picked this up from my Seiko AD. My god this watch is amazing in the flesh. I keep it on the red strap. I'm not a huge Anime fan but my Japanese wife is, and she hates my watch collecting but I got a pass on this one lol. Porco Rosso is a cute movie if you haven't seen it yet.

I think this watch looks great. It looks way better than the white enamel chronograph with the Roman numerals. I don't like the lettering on the side though. The black enamel dial looks way better than the watches that have the white enamel.

I agree with you entirely. The white enamel is nice but the black enamel is really dramatic

I cannot make a decision between SRQ033J1 and SNR047J. One is 3 hands with surreal accurate Spring Drive, and it is elegant. Another is a classic chronograph which is more related to the theme of Porco Rosso. Your video is really showing that enamel is "vivid and lively" rather than plain and boring black. Thank you for the help. I can choose my graduation gift now. Keep flying!

After my graduation an uncle of mine gave me this watch. Sadly now I realize it's just a replica. Very similar but a replica nonetheless

@@engineer_wannabe the back cover of the watch is a normal metal cover without any transparency, but it does have the porco rosso reference. The box wasn't at all what you show in the video, just a small black box without any booklet or accessory seen in your video. The time print is practically the same but it's not made with a smooth curved enamel surface but rather a combination of 2 matte layers that are probably made of plastic. The telemeter does work but the button that I'd assume should to reset it does nothing. I'll record a quick video and upload it asap for you to see

Dude you totally manhandled that thing. Creasing the card on the leather cloth wallet. And no you would not discard the foam tray, you would use it, instead on setting it down on the desk. 😂
