This is "Direct Democracy", the system of governance as used in Switzerland for many years. Our County Councils would be the "Cantons" of Switzerland and, consist of Peoples Assemblies rather than County Councillors. The Swiss have secure online voting, as many as three times per week on new policies. It is impossible for any outside influence to infiltrate this system.

The problem with the council issue is that every house is value rated and put into a band. Then somehow that value becomes a council tax bill. But then the question is why we are then supposedly paying for services provided. I.e Dustbins, fire service, paying the police commissioner. What is the connection? Either we are paying a value rate based on the type of property we have or are we paying for services?

Your city county or district Council is a corporation a for profit enterprise disguised as local governance, as such they have no authority to tell anyone what to do or where an individual can or cannot go, or make demands with menaces for money, they DEMAND you pay a tax on your shelter the burden of proof of any contractual obligation to pay lies squarely with them, your first step is to write to the head of council tax stating your honourable willingness to pay when you have answers to your concerns, good luck.

This sort of reminds me of something I read 20 years ago, here in the US. There was a book published called "Cracking the code. Universal Commercial Law." and echoed a lot of the topics discussed here, including issuing your own credit, to be used for all transactions, in effect, bypassing the federal bills, esp fines and government charges. During the recent hysteria, I was refused access to local council facilities such as the gym (which I was paying a monthly fee for) and library, as I chose not to partake of the pfilth. In a situation such as that, it was outrageous that the council still charged me (via rates) for the provision of those services.

I understand the need for the wisdom of many ages, and the inner strength to be found in a deep and abiding faith in God. I wouldn't rely on any wishy washy people who don't have enough confidence to declare their faith. They will cave. Without God, they will quake and tuck tail and run, or betray anyone at the merest thought of danger. They will sell out their compatriots for the smallest bribe.

God provides a guidebook for a happy, fulfilling, meaningful life here on earth, and eternal life for those who seek it. If you throw away the instructions, it's hard to build a life that works. I am saddened to know that you have preconceived notions of Americans and Christians. People are unique individuals. They can't be neatly tucked into group identity boxes. People are not cattle.

Even Muslims profess faith in the return of Christ, and they are not ashamed to profess their faith in the Almighty. Gandhi had amazing personal strength and fortitude, and no hatred for anybody. How can people govern themselves if they reject faith in God? Christianity, Islam, and all religions, are about governing oneself, for the benefit of the soul, the family, and by extension, the world.

Theres bible verses that covers this scenario, when mose's father in law told moses to appoint people in all the different tribes to hear cases and make changes at the lower level and refer only the hardest cases to moses, so moses didnt get overworked and overloaded and the load for law and order is delegated and shared. We have maori wardens in new zealand who often de escalate situations simply by their presence and them being there.Theyre very respected. You cant go very wrong if you use Gods ten commandment as a guideline for living.

Mr Gilbert makes a great point. I propose to make a conditional offer of payment to my local Council as regards council tax. I really resent the word DEMAND written on their bills, the arrogance and presumptive nature of the letters is not good at all. I love the fact that this is actually about communities and NOT communitarianism.

Yes, I believe he mixed things up there. As far as throwing a brick goes, that is definitely unlawful, because one could most definitely cause harm to another as well as criminal damage. I doubt trespassing is unlawful unless as you said, malicious intent was involved 🤔
