Redefining self-love to me has forever altered my brain chemistry. I have deep rooted emotion neglect trauma that I recently discovered, that influenced my view of self, and has affected my relationships all the way to my adulthood. Recently having a moment of clarity that self-love is more than just in a physical sense, has helped me cope with my struggles. Treating myself like a friend, treating myself with the love that I invest into others, has helped me build more positive coping skills. It has helped me find the path of being present with myself and accepting the blessings and struggles I’ve been dealt with. Thank you for forever changing my view of self-love.

i recently broke up with my girlfriend because of this concept “self love” as a man in a tuff emotional position, i decided take a step back with that girl, she was not giving value to my person. It’s really hard to quit for something that u fight for a long time to move on. i realized that as a man, or in a path to be a man, i have to take the hard decisions cause’ no one is going to take that decisions for me. thanks a lot for your videos.

I talked to a therapist outside there clinic and they said I was a narcissist but I had little to no self love. idk if I should take what they said to heart or seek more counseling to confirm it but I feel like it’s true. Everytime I talk it feels like it’s always based in I or me.
