So true. I hire salesman to go door to door to sell my pest control. I spend my time selling my services B2B. The typical commercial contract is worth about 10 residential. I do have one commercial account worth nearly 100 residential customers.

Just a thought, why don’t you hire/train salesman to sell commercial as well? It sounds like it brings in more money

@DrzKing09 that is the game plan. The challenge here really comes down to geography. I live in East Idaho, where the three largest cities have populations of about 61k, 60k, and 30k. And there's a lot of rural towns in between. It's not very densely populated, and it's a large service area. To get a salesman trained up to do well here, would mean the rep would likely have pitched nearly every available business in training, if that makes sense. And I likely couldn't pay an already experienced rep enough to bring them here. Not enough businesses for that type of rep to thrive long term.
