I'm 62 year old man who 3 yrs ago had a major brain bleed that caused three strokes& 3 different surgery's of my brain spent 80 days in hospital & rehab got home and started a walking program where I was walking around 30 to45 minutes 4 to 5 times a week but balance never improved so then I fell and broke my hip after the hip surgery I found your program & have been doing it for about 3 months I'm now making gains in my balance so I can see what you mean thanks for your help

Well if you want to wake up call just go to your PT. Mine asked me to walk across the room and I thought I was doing pretty damn good. Imagine my surprise when I saw his face.😅 then he proceeded to show me what was off and how I should actually proceed. A year later I've got some very interesting approaches under my belt. They are just part of my consciousness: they are the result of recognizing that I need a strong core, I need to check my balance on a daily basis, I need to walk CORRECTLY not carefully. For me it's a combination of confidence and strength, but it's also a measure of how not to be complacent as you age (or deal with illness/injury).

Orthostatic hypotension needs to be considered when sitting then getting up and starting to walk Sometimes Hypotension will occur immediately Watch Out Hypotension can occur after you have taken several steps
