I love carbquik. I just use more cream or even sour cream to my waffles to eliminate the crumble. Delicious!!! The BB has too many carbs. Which is why the texture taste better. 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the macros!!!

Just tried the Carbquik waffles with almond/coconut milk recommended by one of the commenters. They were a little crumbly, but they will work for me. I cannot eat eggs everyday. Thanks for the review!

I agree CarbQuick is bland. Except for a biscuit recipe I make(not he one on the box) I have not been impressed with baked items. HOWEVER being in south Louisiana, one of the things I really missed was a real Cajun gumbo made with dark roux. Traditional cajun roux is made with equal parts oil and flour, slowly cooked on the stove or in the oven. I made a small batch of roux with Carbquik and it gave the gumbo the rich flavor, but had none of the thickening. The next batch I added 1/2 tsp xanthin gum per cup of Carbquik and it was fantastic. Thanks for all that you do for the keto crowd.

I actually got a box of Carb quick yesterday. Doing a search, and gee, you popped up 😉 Thank you as always. I got it to make chocolate chip cookies, and to use it in place of flour for some sausage gravy. I’m not a big fan of the nut flours, so thought I’d give this a go. Let the experimentation begin, when I can. I’m definitely a dirty Keto/Atkin’s person for now. Let me get the weight off before I go strict Keto, for the health benefits. Carbquick recipies on the box suck. I use it for waffles and use almond milk instead of heavy cream to consistency to pour, melted butter not oil and some cinnamon, vanilla and sucrolose. They are really good
