What other motors have an app that allow (0-100%) assist levels ? Would love to try them out too ! Well, since most people are just bad robots probably not. But, for us mere mortals it is tremendously important to be able to set the % for assist at each level. I can do it with StUnlocker (add on 3rd party app) on my Shimano Steps system (from 0-100% or more). For my Bosch Gestapo motor I can't do $hit with it except the predefined 4 levels of assist (all of which are too much for training unless I pop into a smaller cog & push a big gear.) So I think it is wonderful that this app is available and you can set % of assist at each level. :) Thanks for review !!!!

Just bought a lightly used 2019 Specialized Turbo Levo HT off my LBS this morning. Did a 10mile ride in Ontario, Canada. Single track with compacted snow, just above freezing. Bike and Mission Control App both worked really well. So much fun! Reviews were spot on regarding motor and helped me with my purchase decision. Thanks!

Great info, with Covid-19 was able to pick up the bike today but they could not touch my phone and I did not know where to find the # to pair the bike to the phone! Thanks, up and running.

The figures in your Mission Control conforms well to my estimate of obtaining 2.75-3% battery use per mile (depending on mode mostly, except in extremes of downhill and/or uphill riding).

Would have been nice to see more on “Tune”. What’s the best for Eco, Sport, Turbo modes, etc. Smart Control is good for a ride but, how’s it work? What’s best? Should I use SC instead of say Eco mode? Turbo? Thanks, 👍

It is something you can easily learn on your own and no body knows your fitness level like you do. So, that is hard advice to give. For instance, on my system when my legs are really smoked I set a higher % level. When they are stronger, I set it much lower. For Climbing in the mountains with steep grades, higher. For flat or rolling hill rides, much lower.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzbin.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

Offline Map found in Specialized site, have not tried but... - In the new app, we don't support full-offline maps and map purchases. Instead, we included offline map-caching for your riding area free-of-charge. If you want to ride in a particular area while being offline or in an area without a reliable data connection, simply load/view the map of your planned riding area before you ride while connected to Wi-Fi or data. Mission Control will then cache the map of this area for you, so you can use it when you’re offline

So I have mission control on my new turbo Levo Unfortunately it won’t pair with my wahoo HR monitor The monitor pairs flawlessly with the Bosch equivalent and my garmin On the flip side having power meter reading transmit to my garmin is awesome something the Bosch system does not offer

What isn't clear is how Mission Control meters the power. If the cyclist is going up a hill does it program an increase in power or is the power divided evenly in the ride? The latest MC controls allow for elevation input but what does that do? I will soon be experimenting by placing my Creo SL on a Computrainer which will enable me to measure this and other variables that, so far, no one has publish or explained yet. The Computrainer will enable me to measure the rider wattage (controlling for inaccuracies in claimed rider power output) while measuring the actual power output of the motor as measured from the wheel).

Hello, if you use the turbo mode all the time , how much miles you can go before your battery runs out?
@FlyRidesUSA
@FlyRidesUSA 3 жыл бұрын
It depends on many different factors. Generally speaking, every 100 watt hours should take you about 10 miles. But this is a loose estimate.

Specialized specifically does NOT recommend you mounting your expensive smart phone to your handlebar. The vibrations and possible damage in a crash is a potential.

Has anyone heard of or dealt with this app disconnecting every 15 seconds and auto connecting with lost chosen settings?

I checked it all out and found that the Mission Control may disconnect when in the presence of other bluetooth signals.

this is not good,,1, you must register the app with your email etc . 2, the app then uses your travel info etc and that is used online. I am not a person that will use an app that is used online for my bike in personal use...information is transferred as to my where a bouts...not cool. I rather use the display, and I heard that the app really does not work well at all. the bad reviews out way the just ok reviews.. not really good reviews on the app. sorry I have no interest in sharing my data online to an app.
