@@keztannis6848That looks like a tranquilizer pistol or some other kind of dart gun. One of the beta weapons for Spy was the tranquilizer pistol, hence the reason he called out Spy instead of Medic.

I'm also confused on whether that's Spy or Medic. The tranq gun is right up both of their alleys, the size of the hands seems more like it's Medic, but then again the black gloves are more Spy's. Although I wouldn't say no to Medic in short, black gloves & rolled up sleeves 🤤

I called out spy since if I'm correct the hands look identical if not exactly the same model of "Spy hands [SFM test]" since I've used it in a few poster tests. All pretty garbo mind you posters are typically never in FPV for a solid reason and yes his hands are kinda just chunky like that in the model, (Either the scaling of the original suits weird or smth idk) but also because I think the dart gun is a remake of spys original dart gun (Is also called the spys dartgun in the desc)

very small detail but i like that scout actually misses his reload for a second, and bumps the bottom of the gun instead. not as smooth as he meant to be, which is perfect for him xD very thoughtful animations

more than that! medics hands move with precision and control like a surgeon/violinist and his hand are steady and dexterous. sniper is practical and to the point no flashy movements, and when he reloades the revolving barrel he never drops a bullet, because hes precise! scout bumps the mag because he's hasty, discards it without care and does a flashy show-off reload! these are GOD tier homages to tf2's characterization. and BURNO does it with just THEIR FREAKING *HANDS*

stocked pistols can be legal, you can buy stocked 1911s without permits, they are just STUPID expensive. the rest you either need the stamp, or it needs to be registered. but basically almost every one is still stupid expensive.

A M3 grease gun and stocked pistol with a foregrip are equally illegal in the US, course it takes place in the 60s/70s so cops are much more lax on that kinda thing

So the C96 Mauser, C93 Borchardt, and numerous other stocked pistols before then are legal, assuming the state you're in doesn't ban them. I never got the feeling of "Slow and methodical" while I was playing it. It always felt like the speed was from a person who was still getting used to their weapon on a range rather than a person under heavy fire with at any point a bullet could penetrate their cover and kill them instantly. tl;dr: Slow animations aren't bad (especially here), just add some "stressed" looking animation if they need the length for balancing reasons in insurgency.
