The "lying about their appearance" is really only true if someone literally stops wearing makeup the moment you start dating them and never wears it again. Which is...not really a thing that happens. By the makeup is false advertising logic, so is dressing up for your dorky podcast (although I do actually believe that shad wears a gambeson around the house)
