I did it, i made it all the way though with lots of discomfort, but not real pain. I'm up to 50 hold, then only 80 hold and 7 pushups before my arm gives out. there is light at the end of the tunnel. i know we aren't suppose to have emotions, but you have to understand 174 days ago, I was totally disabled ,i had trouble breathing and moving! Now look at me! there's no stopping me now!!!!!! I bow low to the ground to show how much I honor Shaolin temple for giving a disabled person their life back!

It seems I lost my confidence and strave last week. The low esteem is taking over, making me feel like I failed . I just tried to follow you on this lesson. I still couldn't do it all the way, but to my surprise, I have made some advancements! So I'm not a total failure! You have wakened up my drive to continue forward, baring the pain once more as your past words open my eyes. " You are never a failure , the only way you are a failure is if you quit. " I bow to your words of wisdom.

The sangha-joy I felt, Master Shi, seeing how bright and full of love were your face and eyes after the long held posture and push-ups. I am reminded how bright the mind can be. Thank for you these lessons!

I am getting better and stronger. still lots of knee pain. found out from my medical data, 2 /3 of my torn ligaments was not stitched together , instead they cut a big half circle leaving only 1/3 of the tendons. so that means I don't have all the support to my kneecap. Now I don't feel like a failure, it is what it is, I will adjust!!!
