THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!! My brush roll had worn the non-belt side down to the point that it was shaking in the housing rendering the vacuum useless. I bought a replacement brush roll for less than $15 on Amazon thinking "How hard could this be?" 🤣🤣🤣 If it weren't for this video, I wouldn't have found the hiding screws by the plastic cover over the brush roll motor and might have bought the entire $130 assembly directly from Shark to prevent the headache. 🤕 WHAT A MONSTER! But, thanks to you and your video, I've replaced my brush roller. I'm happy. My wife's happy. The dog's happy (because his darn fur isn't covering the house anymore). THANK YOU! 🙏

Thank you for this. The cap on the non-belt end of the roller on my vacuum was all twisted/melted out of shape and would not longer attach to the roller, causing the roller to not roll anymore. I found a replacement on Amazon for $15. What a pain to replace - thank you so much for making this video. It made all the difference for me being able to figure this out.

Thanks for posting this video...I was able to replace my roller and belt (NV753). I was pretty mad to find a security torx as one of the screws to take the cover off...a small blade screwdriver got me around that annoyance!

I have found very few videos about my vacuum. I spent months researching before settling on the NV752 seven years ago. I have always kept on top of its maintenance and its been tops. Since most of our home is vinyl flooring now, I have not had to use it as much. Recently I thought I might replace the brush roller before the part becomes hard to find. It still works great, but the brush is showing some wear. I cannot tell you how mortified I was to see that ALL the screws on mine are the torx security screws AND they are AT Least three different sizes. I had hoped this video would provide me with the varied sizes so I could stop the trial and error nightmare I have been going through. Thanks for the upload and will def check out you other vids as knowledge is better than a Lambo.

That's part of sharks problem- cheaply made parts and cheaply made construction- I have in the UK an ax901 and an ax950 and even these are built poorly and I DREAD the day I have to try and repair them - but with your expert explanations and terrific videos I know the problem would be much easier!

We install a fit all hose in the lower head when it starts to crack and fall apart.

@@christianduplantier8725 We have bulk hose that we use to replace those broken hoses. It hold up better than the shar hose by a good bit. Visit your local vac shop, the should have it in stock.

Hi I bought this vacuum secondhand. This exact model. Weirdly, I found the circle filter inside the top area of the dust bin. That's wrong correct? And there was no filter under where the dust bin sits.

The cord is horrible! It tangles in kinks and I can't keep it from twisting itself. Can I replace it with a cord that doesn't do this every time?

For this vacuum can you tell me what the error is when the selector switch for hardwood or carpet depth begins to flash and the brush head no longer spins? I have neither a green or red let on brush head anymore and the belt/roller are clean and clear. Thanks!

I got the brush changed out following your video and in the process found out that the house you mansion is broken😢 do you think if I use an electric 6 inch shrink tubbing it would fix it? I really don't wanna get the whole bottom part for $180.

Followed the instructions to a T, and unfortunately my base plate is NOT snapping back on, the bottom clips work fine, but for the life of me, the top and center ones will not, as if there's a gap of some sort. They don't line up. Would appreciate any insight!

You would be lucky if the whole cleaner head was available. Typically they change Parts as a whole assembly and are only made available for a short period of time.

Yep, I found the hose (have two broken) but good luck getting it removed or put back in lol. And yeah, they've been sold out of the powerhead I need so that vac is headed for the trash to be replaced by a better vac, as you know, a Miele or Henry. Or a Zing, who knows yet. Completely bonkers stupid design for no fning good reason. Also, my new Bosch drill has a screw mode that stops completely once the screw is in place at your set level.
