Wanted to add, I don’t think people understand that the reason Janine has a problem with the labeling is because it looks cheap, and with the hashtag it makes you question even further if the guy knows his target audience. Only an incredibly low percentage of people under the age of 25 are going to want to dish out $$$ on a premium ice cream with a 5-star health rating, A - because they don’t earn enough to do it often enough, and B - because they don’t need to be so concerned over what’s in ice cream at this age. Only those low % of obese people that are actually trying to lose weight, or low % of those who are gym & health fanatics who love and NEED to have ice cream. Otherwise you are looking at older aged people, mums and dads, wealthier people who can drop $10 a small tub, who are eating ice cream frequently enough that it is no longer considered a guilty pleasure. Does the colour popping, hashtag, busy labelling really appeal to those people? Meanwhile dummies on here who think they are smart will say “I love the labelling it totally stands out!” Because they don’t understand business which is about understanding your CONSUMER and they didn’t understand why Janine mentioned the labelling and target market.

Contrary to what that lady says, the colour scheme on the label is actually good. If I was walking down the aisle, it would catch my eye. Those flavours pop more with black. I like the labeling, don't think its too crowded. Also that comment "fundamental flaw" what is she talking about?

Do some research and you will see that even a lot of the juice only drinks contain about 25gm of sugars which is five to six spoons. I don't think the packaging is bad at all. The clear contrast of colors, especially with the pink on black, is very eye catching. It also looks very high quality and almost fancy. I don't see the issue with it. Less is not always more. Ice cream packaging is often very detailed. Oh well, the company changed to a mostly protein bar company anyway.

When boost first started They had piles of sugar in their yoghurt... And they cut their fresh beetroot into little 1cm x 1cm cubes.... their reasoning on this was - people only care about the red colour - and not how much actual beetroot you get. Congratulations BOOST JUICE, your target audience was farkwits... I haven’t been back since 2013, so I’m not too sure if it’s still Farkwits...

As someone who worked in a brand agency. The design was totally fine for that kind of product. Owner thought even about the perception looking at the product within the freezer. Clearly readable and pop bright colors for each variant. Sure less the better but it is for sure not that bad that it is a fundamental flaw. If I would have to change the design though I would probably have a different main color of the entire package for each variant. So mint green for mint etc. and that is based on the fact that most of these type of products on the market are packaged with either mainly black or bright white colors.

Hey fellow KZbinrs! Long story short. I created WheyCream The Protein Ice Cream, here in the United States. It took me about 2 years to formulate the recipe, this was back in 2013. That’s what they mean by the “congested market”. Lots of personal issues on my end, which made bringing this to fruition impossible. Let’s call it ultimatums I had to face. This is very cool to see, even if it’s years after I brought it into production. I own the trademark, recipes, USDA nutrition facts approved. I don’t do it anymore, threw in the towel. I know what it took to scale it to where I got to, and seeing this in action..I have much respect for the man. Best of luck Fro Pro! As a matter of fact, fro pro is in the US, along with Frotein. They started way after I launched mine. This is very cool of what “could of been” but frankly I have no regrets.
