They also have a much higher college acceptance rate than white people, and are more likely to be picked for higher paying positions above anyone else. I agree. That dad is goals! He is just trying his best. And I felt so bad for Peter the whole series - not because I feel like LJ did the wrong thing or shouldn't have prioritized what she wanted to do - but she should've been upfront and talked through everything with him. I love that she still went to NY to pursue what she wanted and he did, too. I also love that Peter accepted this wasn't about him eventually and that he didn't force sex. It was just a wayyyyyy better series than Kissing Booth - so much heart.
