Shed Remodel: Pt 2 Making a Door

Making your own shed door may seem like a daunting task but it's not that bad. It's actually quite simple. Shed doors are nothing more than the shed door frame with some "skin" or paneling placed over it. Throw some hinges and a latch on and you got yourself a door!

You left a 3/8” gap all around. I’m following this for putting a new door on my shed. The opening is flush all the way around. But I’m doing it for a sauna so I ultimately want it to be “weather sealed.” Can I make the gap smaller? Thoughts?

instead of making the gap smaller, which may cause some fit issues later on, try to use a door seal or weather stripping
