When I was 8 I lost my mom. She was shot. I used to wake up every morning and smell some of her perfume. It comforted me. I am 12 now and still cry myself to sleep sometimes. I'm sorry you lost your mom at such a young age, I can't imagine the sadness and pain that must left you with. A few years ago my great grandmother died but when she died she was acually suppost to die 10 years before she acually died so I was sad that I wouldn't see her again for a long time but was happy that she at least got to live to see me.

I'm gonna vent. My grandma died of lung cancer. I didn't see her die, as me and my brother were at school. We learned when we got back from school. My day was going amazing. We got the call and my dad asked if my mom was in the room with us, which she was. He told us she died at 10AM. I broke down, and my brother cried and comforted me. I knew she would die, but not to soon after my 12th birthday. We had her celebration of life on her 70th birthday, and seeing my grandpa crying broke me down again, and I cried again. The date she passed was May 6th, 2024. I will forever dread that day when it comes. R. I. P Grandma, I will miss you forever. 🕊

Every girl and boy needs their father. Honestly I teared up during the video but when I found out it was for her father that passed in 9/11. I balled my eyes out. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my dad. Like I said, every girl and boy needs their dad. Even if he turns out to be a dead beat (no offense I'm sorry if you have one of those.) My grandpa passed away back in 2020. He got taken by the pandemic. I miss him a lot. He was like a father figure to me as he raised me with my grandma since I was a baby, while my parents worked in a different state. He was bundle of joy, love, humor and most importantly, someone who cared for me right from the beginning. I miss him so damn bad. I wish he wasn't gone so soon.
