He was trying. There was a sequal to Rocky in the late 70s and early 90s that nevet made it to production

I know Barry was so glad to just act in a male role for a change. I love that he's in this. Mainly the reason why I'll watch this film. But I love the atmosphere of this picture. It's everything that I would've been kept from watching and experiencing as a kid in the 80s. I would have gotten in so so much trouble for watching this then. That forbidden aspect is what pulls me in. 😎

Sadly this movie was decades before it time with reality tv. I was at the Boston screening and the audience booed and it was never show again Rocky continued screening and this movie was loathed.. til the the last decade when it was released on DVD.

This was never a sequel to the rocky picture Horror Show it is a follow-up to the movie which contained a lot of the original characters from The Rocky Horror.

"Not a sequel, not a prequel, but an equal..." I have never been so disappointed by a movie in my life after seeing this. I have no memory of what it was even about. It was unwatchable. I wanted to watch Rocky immediately after to cleanse my brain from it.

I could live the entire rest of my life without ever seeing Rocky again, or hearing it's songs, but I'd watch Shock Treatment at the drop of a hat. I love the songs in Shock Treatment.
