AB AND LENA - please do not go in the tanning bed. It’s so dangerous! Quickest ticket to skin cancer 💯
@Pushnotificationsalwaysoffbye Жыл бұрын
I did my senior thesis on tanning beds and their correlation to skin cancer and there are too many variables to get into but the overall findings support that burning, not tanning without burning, contributes to all types of skin cancer - as much in the sun outdoors as indoors. Tanning without burning was not found to be linked to higher rates of skin cancer and vitamin D from UV ray intake is substantially higher than supplements and helps prevent much more serious internal cancers. This is an important myth that needs to be debunked. My paper had 22 peer reviewed sources and is about a decade old but the info is out there. The major distinction: Tanning, NOT BURNING, helps more than harms. And most people are more likely to burn in the sun outdoors like at the beach, daily without sunscreen, etc. Indoor tanning promotes a base-tan and should be approached carefully, with a slow introduction, tapering up in minutes over weeks. Avoiding burning at all costs. And not all minutes are created equal as some beds provide more UVB rays than others. It’s fascinating (to me) but even aside from personal interest, the huge effect on preventing internal cancers really deserves more discussion. But, Big Sunscreen is actually a thing - backed by Big Skincare whose pockets are veryyy long.

@@banquetoftheleviathan1404normal for who? Lol I’m American and not even close. The people around me don’t eat like that either. I used to up until I was in my late twenties admittedly, and it took a partner wanting to expand my palette to help me break those habits and now I’m able to eat healthier and lift some of the burden on the US healthcare system burdened by obesity, but yeah no his eating isn’t what I consider “normal,” at least for full grown adults.

Lolll he’s just excited to eat American fast food and all the snacks that are super hard to get in Europe, he will eventually get tired of it and start eating normal, at least that’s how it was for me 😆

Legitimately enjoyed the technical difficulties that occurred around 2:49:00, being able to see all the different "we pressed the button" screens was nice! Lots that I don't think have ever been shown before

The fact that the Jeff segment was only 7 mins -_- they did not go as hard as they should’ve…maybe they were scared they’d end up talking about Trisha lol
