Love this shoulder sequence, chill out hip opening and the morning energiser. Can't believe how quick my mobility has increased, I do a lot of sitting tensed up at a desk at work due to being so busy and then running /circuits in the evenings - can already see just from repetition of the short sequences the improvements - move of the same please Shona :)

Thank you Shona! I have been experiencing chronic back pain under my right shoulderblade (probably from too much computer work and too little mobility) and for a long time i was afraid that moving will worsen the situation. Your videos have inspired me a lot and I love how you explain everything. I will definitely continue doing your exercises and would love some more shoulder stretches!!

I LOVEEEEEEEE your videos!!! I often find my shoulders very tight and my jaws close so tight together that it hurt when I eat. I do hope that you create more shoulders or upper body release videos. I follow your videos to do Yoga and find my "mobility" improved day by day!

More shoulder opening and shoulder releasing exercises would be great! This video has really helped open my shoulders in the morning when I wake and up and in the night before I go to bed. Having scoliosis and curved shoulders I really feel this video allows me to focus on the muscles in my back and releases tension from under my shoulder blade and in front of the shoulder. THANK YOU!

Hello Shona, I am a yoga teacher myself and this is my third time doing this practice for two days. For some reason I start feeling tight in my upper body, which is strange because I have always been open in my chest, back, showders and tighter in my lower body. I can tell the difference of how I feel before and after this class right away. Some poses were familiar some I did in a different ( more effective ) way because of your instructians and I loved it. More gentle upper body classes, yes pls! Greetings from Bulgaria

Thank you SO much for this sequence- I have a lot of upper back discomfort due to mild mid Thoracic scoliosis so I am always looking for practices that focus on the upper back (there are not a lot of them). I really appreciate your variations on different holds and poses and appreciate your focus on twists- these things really helped me this morning and I will be doing this again for sure! I have just recently found you and am so glad I did! I would love to see more upper back/shoulder opening practices as you are so thorough and deliberate. I look forward to browsing the rest of your collection! Thank you again for sharing your expertise!!

Great stretches from someone with really tight shoulders & even tighter pecs (too many years sitting at a desk with no self love!). Would love more! Great cues as always, they make such a difference to the way I have been doing some of these stretches. Thanks for sharing & caring 💕

Loved this Shona thank you. I have been getting a LOT of tension headaches at the moment that I know are stemming from tightness in my shoulders, upper back and neck (which I think has been cause by an ongoing shoulder injury) so this couldn't have come at a better time! Would love to see more upper body mobility/stretching videos including upper back as well as I am super tight there. Thank you so much! x

This was really helpful! I have a trapped nerve in my shoulder/neck area with a lot of tightness in the traps. I've had physio which hasn't really helped. This was great! I will definitely be doing this a few times a week. I also cycle a lot so I think this doesn't help the tightness through the shoulders. Thank you!

Really enjoyed this. Upper body stretching is often bypassed so this was really useful! Would loooove a hamstring video. I'd do it all day every day! I swam for 20+ years, bike everywhere as a commute, work in a kitchen, rock climb and just got out a dual degree program after five years. Despite 7 years of yoga instruction, the last year I did too much (particularly climbing) and found myself tearing my left trapezium. This was wildly helpful and taught me some new stretches or more helpful progressions but could you please recommend a series to focus on resetting and strengthening the scapula?

Alexandra Fisher sure! Will do! Also remember that the lower back can get stiff if the glutes are weak or tight so strengthening and mobilising them can help to release the lower back more than stretching it. ❤️

Wow my shoulders feel great. I feel the difference straight away. Great video Shona, thanks!! Just a suggestion: It would be great to have the same video with shorter explanations. Now that you've explained the cues and "ideas" behind the moves, the sequence can be done in one go and gets more "flowy", if you know what I mean :)
