Wow!! Very clever . I have to wonder if wsj wasn't aware it would happen this way or did the do this on purpose to get more press since it's a teen manga series. If so it's just a cheap way to get some people to see the image

I’m guessing they knew! Or maybe just the artist? Either way, it was clever! Lol

It’s a teen magazine, just like most anime and manga. I wouldn’t say for kids, there are kids manga magazines in Japan kodomo mags like Coro-Coro-magazine And many others for kids. And then there is the teen magazines and tv shows.

Didn't WSJ have To Love Ru and Nisekoi to appeal to older audiences without it resorting to go into their seinen publications?
@TokyoBriBri5 жыл бұрын
It could’ve been an honest mistake, but I doubt it. Maybe they were actually trying to appeal to the younger crowd, but stealthily! Lol

Yeah! I used to read the English translation! But I don’t know any of the new manga now.

I think the word you were looking for may be "explicit". Boys over about 9 are going to find much more explicit content on the Internet, Broadcast TV, newspapers etc. Way back in the stone age, the National Geographic magazine, and even the Sears catalog were a source of the forbidden imagery that draws a yoing boy's attention. It's all a harmless part of growing up, and fills that gap between puberty and when girls begin to notice you.

Yeah, I mean now that we have the internet I think they’re just a click away from....well from anything really!

Btw what’s in the Sears catalog that was so interesting 🤔 lol

@@TokyoBriBri Anything is right! I did policy monitoring for a while. You'd be amazed at the kinky stuff engineers and office folks seek out while at work on a network they've been told is monitored closely. I miss being a nice, but woefully naive, young man.

Whaaaaat?? Do people actually do that at work?? 😂 A friend of mine had a job watching imported p*rn to make sure it was censored for Japan users. He must’ve seen it all....
