@hakari50146 жыл бұрын
Well, the idea of shooting two handguns at the same time was never about accuracy, but more about sending a ton of lead down range as fast as possible. Computer games made it a bit more effective than it should be in real life, but in movies it's still a "spray and pray" type of combat. Watch some John Woo movies and you will get the idea. When your targets are less than 10 meters away (like in any action movie with akimbo blasting), then it can be quite "effective" I guess. Also with enough training you can be proficient in every shooting method, even hip firing (watch Bob Munden's fast draw videos). Jerry Miculek did a "V-drill" with two AR-15s strapped to his arms and scored pretty much every single hit while still making an impressive time, so an avid shooter can do something like that. Finally: using a two laser aiming modules on your guns should make it much easier.

I remember this gun from the 203rd Military Intelligence's Foreign Weapons class at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, I attended in the Army back in 1991. We got to fire it in Semi-Auto which was quit comfortable, but when the instructor fired it in full-auto it climbed to the moon and then some. As they say, it was what it was being used by Tankers when a rifle would be to cramped.
@lakiza556 жыл бұрын
I'm actually surprised how stable it is in full auto with the stock. That rate reducer really does let the inertia of the slide bring the muzzle back to where it was during the first shot. Just compare it to the HK VP70M, even at 10 yards you really need to aim for the balls to get a hit to the chest with that gun. I can totally understand why guys in special forces, like Specnaz, would like this, especially when suppressed.

Unlisted videos can still be accessed by direkt link, which some of his patrons probably receive. Sometimes those links are also at the end of his Videos with related content. As this is only relevant for about a day, he probably just doesn't mind a few people getting early access. Stechkins wasn't "phased out of use", they just was put out of production. Suppressed variant - APB - was produced untill recently (or probably still in production). There is still plenty of APS in use, they became very popular since first war in Chechhya. Pilots in Syria had them as a standart self defence weapon (if they don't have time to pull AKS-74U out their emergency packs). Various Special Forces units use them (mostly APB variant) along with Glock, PM, PYa, SR-1. Holster/buttstock is used rarely though, as APS/APB mostly used in semi-automatic mode only. Moreover, standart issue holster is quite bulky, and APB had detachable steel wire buttstock.
