Here is a pretty common US fighting knife from WW2. These knives were issued to the all of the US military services during WW2. The company that made these knives also made MK2 combat knives for the Navy and Marine Corps.

They also made MK1's for the Navy. Out of the 8 or so MK1 manufacturers, the PAL RH35 IMO is the most elegant as is the RH36 out of the 6" WWII knives.

Since the knife sheath is left-handed, I assume that it is a Cataraugus 225. I'll watch the video again to see if I can identify marks on the blade. My aging eyes did not enable me to see what was inscribed, so I still say that it is a Cataraugus! One of my favorites! The Old Preacher
