Right on time. My strength has gone down a bit and I've realized I'm not eating enough. Supplements could also help me recover faster since I'm starting wrestling again. Great video

I would also add to this any choline rich food (like beef liver, alternatively alpha-GPC supplementation) once or a couple of days a week for the more advanced athletes. It has various neurological benefits which can help offset CNS damage due to the cumulative inflammation from training

Thanks. Very informativr. I use creatin and protein powder. Its hard to eat clean. I started power lifting at 58. Im 63 in october. I want to hit a 600lb deadlift so i need all the help i can get !

The only problem with creatine while wrestling is the additional water you need to drink. Most wrestlers cut weight and water is the first thing go.

How Do I Manage my hydration, if I just keep drinking water then what about my electrolyte levels that have dropped after a training session as well, am really confused how can I balance these both things and prevent dehydration & overhydration? , Great vid though🙌

How Much Reps Should I do In Bodyweight exercises for strength?

Compound high reps like 12-20. Hypertrophy for 1-12.

Same as you woulds do for other exercises; lower reps for maximal strength (1-6), slightly higher reps should also be included (6-12) and do some high rep work for accessories and assitance (12-20). If you can add extra weight or difficulty to the movement do that, and if you can easily perform more than 8 reps and cant make the exercise harder you will just have to do additional sets with good form and extra reps. Basically if you can only do pullups, pushups, dips etc without weight just do a billion midrep sets with good form.

i tried regular whey protein powder. that shit gave me a horrible aftertaste hours later after consuming. also gave me crazy amounts of smelly gas lmao.. ive also tried creatine , that shit gave me cramps even though i upped my water consumption, i also noticed feeling more angry at the littlest shit like dropping a piece of food on the floor or my phone dying out lol. i stopped everything cuz the bigger muscles isnt worth fucking my body function & hormones all up. rather just stick to normal foods & keep my body functioning as natural as possible.

Should probably get off it once season comes. It will destroy your kidneys and liver if you’re cutting weight which isn’t worth the extra gains. You’ll retain some of the strength, just not all of it.
