The gorillas usually relax in the basement before breakfast, but on this day they were unusually relaxed in a room on the ground floor.
After a while, the gorillas returned to the basement when breakfast was ready outside, but only Annie, Shabani's daughter, did not want to return to the basement.
because the boy she likes was in the corridor on the ground floor.
Annie did not want to go back down to the basement, so Shabani and his family came to the ground floor.
Finally Annie went down to the basement and the gorillas enjoyed their breakfast outside.

I think Annie just wants to be by the cute little boy. He seems to be her best human friend. Shabani is the best father, protector, leader, friend, and silverback I've ever seen. Any young female gorilla would be fortunate to have Shabani as her mate.👑🦍❤

I definitely agree. Even when there's others around him, she seems to enjoy him as himself tremendously. There's gotta be something special about that little fella because of how much Annie is drawn to him. :) And I love your description of Shabani since it pretty much equates to how I see him.

Thank you😊 My son loves Annie and says he wants to go out and live with her 😌 After watching for about an hour, the gorillas move because they want to see other animals. When I go back to the end of the nap time, Annie, who noticed my son, will come again, and other customers are surprised😊 Kiyomasa and Ai sometimes come, so you may think they are small monkeys 😄

Maybe Annie doesn't want to be locked inside of that steel and concrete enclosure. I think the animals want to be in their natural environment without humans controlling their existence as if they are inmates.

I hope this won't be an annoying or some intentional "me, me, me" post but this video was a tearjerker. As a little girl my Dad watched me like a hawk whenever I was engaging with another child but he always tried his best to look casual in the most hilarious way. He'd sit on a nearby bench pretending that his nails were the most interesting thing in the world or as if he saw something on his shirt that he hadn't seen before while sometimes scratching his chin. He even moved his head in whatever direction to where it looked like he was just casually watching birds fly by even though his eyes were locked on me and my situation. At the time I was completely oblivious but as I got older I was catching on but acted as if I wasn't aware of his hilarious attempts to hiding his protectiveness. He hardly ever intervened but his presence was exceptionally close. I just thought I'd share a good memory that came to me by how Shabani is with Annie in this video. I don't spend much time with my folks and these videos have become in some odd way a huge help whenever I miss them. Thank you always for your videos, SAG.❤

My house is close to the zoo.When you go to the zoo, you start with a gorilla😊 At that time, if you have a You Tuber, you'll just have it filmed😊 My son is close to chimpanzees, otters, jaguars, and reptiles as well as gorillas😂

The emotional bond created with the boy is endearing but it does affect the group dynamics. She will get attached to the boy and not socialize with her troop. They are emotional and this should be discouraged

Well, the real issue is when they whip out their phones and take away "gorilla time" and distract them from being gorillas-this happened at a zoo last yr sometime and it's discouraged by the docents there. Too much screentime for the gorillas, lol

Why is this boy being given so much attention? In my opinion he is being put in the spotlight by his mother who pushes him forward to the window. In a way he is disturbing the gorila community.

Have you ever visited a gorilla troop in a zoo when they have babies or young? They are fascinated by children, especially the mother gorillas. You just want to take away one of the only bright spots in their terrible boring life of imprisonment. Ask yourself why.

Nene is the dominant gorilla in that"troop" and she would have killed Annie if she could have. She should already be gone from this zoo but.... Japan.

That's what Shabani is for, he did his job marvelously. No need to move her anywhere, she's such a happy girl most of the time and she has playtime with all of her troop (minus Nene of course).
