@richardk64895 жыл бұрын
Id say yes to that. 2nd nature.
@Howard.Stern.5 жыл бұрын
Of course he did. Detective Vin told them that Pussy was a rat. Both Tony and Silvio check for wires. Christopher and Paulie think that Pussy is lying about his back before Tony even brings it up. They were all still unsure if Pussy was legitimate. Paulie kicks Pussy out of the conversation between him, Furio, and Johnny. Pussy was simply on borrowed time. Once Tony's denial wore off he basically planned the hit, went straight to Pussy's house, searched for the tape recorder, brought Pussy to the boat, then whacked Pussy in the span of a few hours without a second thought. Same thing happened with Adriana. They found out she was a rat, planned the hit, had Chris go into hiding, Silvio pick up Ade, whack her, then make it look like she ran off, in the span of a few hours tops.
@The_yeffy15 жыл бұрын

@M-E_1236 жыл бұрын
You've got to remember at the time they didn't really know how long it would run for. I think the original pitch was only for a one off series (and that was built up from a film outline). It was a different time for HBO - these days they are looking for pitches for series that can run for a few years. After the first year of the Soprano's they were making it up year to year with the last couple of years being held up by contract negotiations with the cast because they were only hired for one year at a time. The Pussy story probably got paid off so quickly because 1 they didn't know they'd be writing another series 2 they didn't have anything else planned for the character There's tons of characters / situations they burned through in the first few years - the later series took things a bit slower.

Yeah honestly, he could've come clean about it and skipped town. Tony would've helped him out because he was like a brudda to em. Like "Look Ton, the feds have me, I've gotta leave town, I'm not gonna give them shit I need to disappear." The real Mafia used to help their guys out like that all the time. Send them to a safehouse somewhere or in another town with a different family. That was Omerta. The oath that you never did anything to betray your friends and they would in turn have your back. The only reason the real Mafia ever started to crumble was because guys started breaking Omerta and taking deals with the Feds. If nobody ever took a deal, the Mafia would be untouchable. Though, the Gambino family is still alive and well in New York and they still seem to be raking in cash. You should look up Frank Cali's house and the SUV he was driving. He was recently killed outside of his home so it's easy to find pictures.

Silv's Michael Corleone impression - it's an Emperor New Clothes situation! Among all the cheering and laughing, someone has to say it blows, and blows hard.

I just realized that all the impressions could relate to pussy "Just when i thought i was out, they pull me back in" pussy was gone for the last part of season 1 and they brought him in on season 2 "Is it true?" This could be interpreted as the sopranos crew and the public asking themselves if its true that pussy was the rat "Our true enemy is yet to reveal himself" this one is pretty obvious, it relates to them not yet knowing that pussy is a rat

Eventually one comes to realize that some people find humor where others do not. All subjective. I don't understand why the endless onslaught of jokes pertaining to flatulence, bodily functions & human genitalia continues to make people laugh.

Hatt Hanz they were never as well off as Hollywood portrays them. Only the bosses and top captains made good money and lived in big houses. I don't think the average mobster saw the type of money mid level drug dealers make.
