The WORST part about situations like this is that you can only be mad at yourself for choosing someone who you're suspicious about regarding their interest and intention with you instead of choosing the person who is clearly matching your energy. A similar situation happened to me a couple of years ago. The girl told me that she wasn't looking for a relationship right now, ghosted me shortly after that and then changed her FB status from "single" to "engaged" less than two weeks later. 7:40 Omg... I have actually done this with the one relationship Ive had so far. Met them in August, we both fall hard for eachother play a ton of games and chat a lot etc etc. In early December, I'm at my best friends party with about 6 others, and me and my gf are chilling and laughing in the corner as we do a silly little "who loves eachother more" game. We are getting louder and sillier, until this other guy storms out. I ofc didn't immediatly notice this and was a tad confused at first. Turns out, he has been good friends with her for atleast a few years maybe longer and had been working up the courage to say he had feelings for her for a long time. She never realized this, but would have gotten more serious with him if she knew before she met me. I felt a little guilty ofc, what started between us just... kinda happened. Then I felt REALLY guilty and also super impressed when I hear that when she talked with him. This guy acted like an actual adult in the whole conversation and had no ill will towards me at all. In fact, me and him had a good long chat about just... stuff for like 4 hours like a week later. About a month later our relationship kinda just... fell apart? We basically took a break from eachother afterwards for a month or so and have been good friends since. This other guy and her have gotten together after and I'm happy in many ways that it worked out. The three of us all play games together sometimes too.

Man I went through an almost exactly the same situation 😕 It was super toxic though, and I even wound up going into a mental health facility (for other reasons as well, but the situation pushed me over the edge) over it. I never got closure from the guy, no real reason why or anything, so I just accepted the outcome and learned you don't always get closure (which was kind of closure in it's self for me) But I got better with therapy, loved ones and just learning I deserved better and learning from my mistakes. Now I'm way better emotionally and mentally and I even got married to my childhood friend who is a way healthier man 😌

Damn I feel you. Crying over someone I didn't date🤣😭😭 this can also be a reminder to process and take your time with hurt emotions. Don't just brush it off and do cuz then you could be out in public and unintentionally embarrass yourself. It really sucks getting no closure or anything but think of it like this. If those days are the worst then the days after that is automatically better. You also get to know yourself and your wants better. Healthy boundaries and stuff. These things hurt so much but time heals wounds.
