Someone brought up a good question: How long to leave the powder? I'd say minimum 4 hours, but to really get the full effects, sprinkle the night before heading to bed and then sweep or vacuums from the back of the space to the front of the space, pushing all of the energy out. Then, just make sure you dispose of the powder leaving your front door, and either in the garbage outside or at a crossroad. Just don't put it in the grass, since it has salt in it!

Hi Olivia, not sure if someone has commented about the ribbons, the idea of putting ribbons in the aloe it is to draw the attention of the person visiting the house to the plant, and then the aloe would cleanse any ill from that person, specially useful for evil eye. Therefore the plant should be by the entrance or a place where it’s visible to all visits. Greetings!

Little tip! If you want to protect your space but don’t want to sprinkle anything all over your floor/windowsills, I personally like to keep little essential oil bottles, fill them, and put them in all the corners. I also line the inside of my windows once it’s opened and just keep it closed, but putting bottles on each end works too!

This was truly such a heartwarming and informative video. I typically just cleanse and clear my house with incense, candles, or palo santo wood. I really need to be more proactive to protecting my living space from negativity BEFORE it comes in rather than always having to cleanse it when the energies in the home seem off. Aloe vera is great to stop gossip and envy thrown your way if you put it in your front door. Another the funny thing is that what she mentioned of the red ribbons, in mexico you can buy them anywhere with ribbons included (sometimes of different color for different purposes). I'm not too sure but I don't think bugs like salt very much, I think they'd be much more attracted to sweet stuff! But honestly I'm sure that would be dependent on the type of insect. Salt still might actually dehydrate some bugs.

Hi Olivia! I'm a newby and discovering myself, I always use raw salt in the 4 corners of my house after cleaning, but after starting shadow work I've been feeling strange every night on my bed looks like someone is watching me lol! I try to not feel fear but sometimes I can't control yet.... Sorry I just needed to share with someone it's so lonely.... about the video can I use white salt instead of black?!
