I am a new 'student'. I am 74 years old. I have knee/leg pain, accompanied by stress/anxiety. I started yesterday, and today I feel less pain and stress. I am going to continue.

I have a good friend who is a library volunteer where I work who does qigong and a brother-in-law who does it as well. Wow! Did i need this!!!! Now I am a convert. The sweat in the back, I also feel some coolness in my shoulders, and they feel the most relaxed I have ever felt them. What a boost!! I also have a brain injury. So I look forward to the "re-wiring". I need that as well.

I'm recovering from the deep grief of losing my beloved husband. I am grateful to have found this practice and have been trying varied practices. I do notice some improvement from the physical pain and weakness of grief. Thank you.

Greetings all the way from the UK.. I wanted to say ‘thank you’ for these really helpful videos . I started on the Qi Gong journey some time ago but sadly my tutor/mentor went away…leaving me with little or no real routines. I recently tried Tai Chi , but found that was way too rigid for me . As a 67 year old man , still working, with Arthritis and having had 4 TIA’s I needed to do something !!!! . I don’t use painkillers or any drugs/alcohol etc. but I do have an excellent Acupuncturist.. The way that you explain the movements and all the possible benefits is just right for me … The breathing exercises help with stress and anxiety of life, whilst the movements help free up the body which in turn improves my mental health ….😊 Thank you again. David

Fantastic and simple. Eckhart Tolle recommended Qi Gong for people with high "painbody" (negative emotions/depression/low energy) To start the day with, I feel pretty cleansed inside and with some more energy + calm

thanks for this, first time trying qigong and I feel lighter after it, also found that the hand movements helped me get out of my head for a few mins. I really appreciated the simplicity and accessibility of the moves and information. Looking forward to trying some more of your videos!

❤ thank you for this practice I have done it 2 mornings in a row and I will continue with it each day , I was so ignorant before when I was in a rehabilitation clinic they had a quigong teacher come in once a week and I was so closed minded I did everything to get out of it since I've started on my sobriety and spiritual journey I realise the importance of all of this, I'm surly going to make sure my 4 yr old daughter is aware of the stuff I'm just learning in my late 30s , thanks again I'll check out the website 😊

I love your practical explanations. I usually do a more strenuous qigong but I have had a back issue , which is back in place but tender. I started with your sitting exercises and now have graduated myself to your standing. I love your simple explanations and simple exercises. I just did this and it was wonderful. Lots of qi. I go to settings and slow this down to .75 to obtain the slow speed at which I prefer to practice.... thankful for these videos!

Just discovered your channel. My starter class for Thai Chi was cancelled due to covid so i went online and discovered Qigong. I love it, i am in my mid 50s and very unfit and by mistake i found Qigong whilst looking for Thai Chi. I think this is better for me . I have been doing your Qigong everyday for 3 weeks and i feel much better and calmer .Thank you so much and greetings from the UK. Totally subscribed.

Hello chand you have really taught Qi gong very well . Thanks . Keep it up. If possible can you make videos to practice for half hour and also one hour . If you are going to do these please also include warm up and cool down. So that I and many others can make Qi gong as a daily routine. This 12 minutes routine looks too less as a daily workout.

I really enjoyed this exercise as instructor Chand goes thru each one completely. Other sites explains the move and will show the moves about 3 times & then suggest that we do 3 more & then continue to another exercise.

I have only very recently discovered your work here, Jeff. I must say that I am very impressed! I've been wanting to study Qigong for years but living where I do, Squamish BC (you are probably familiar with it if you live in BC) there are no Qigong instructors that I know of. That and this pandemic are a bit of a pain. Your videos are a way around this and I thank you very much for taking the time to share with us here ;-)

Hi Jeffrey. I've just done my first Qi Gong session. Thank you for such a peaceful and lovely routine. I'm also suffering from Long Covid atm and when I was releasing the Qi I felt quite a strong tingling in my hands as I turned them round to start the outward movement. The whole experience also left me feeling a little breathless. I'll see how my experience compares next time I do it :)

Day 1. Suggested by my chiropractor to work through PTSD stress. My BP has been too high to mention because of it. So I will be sure to do this right before my procedure tomorrow and see where my BP is. I will try to reply each day with progress notes.

I like the movements and the sense of relaxation and focus that I felt, yet I do not want to be concerned with building up too much chi when I do my morning movements. Thank you.

I wouldn't be too concerned about building up too much qi. If you feel restless or antsy after a qigong practice just go for a brisk walk, a light jog, or some other medium to high intensity exercise to dissipate any "excess" qi. Your qi wants you to be healthy so if you need more relaxing or activity just listen to your body! 🙂
