I started doing this routine after I had my first baby. It was a traumatic pregnancy and delivery that left me with post partum depression and PTSD. After a week of following along with this video before bed I realized my nightmares had decreased greatly. Side note: I'm doing much better now. My daughter will be 2 in October and we will welcome our new baby to the world in January. ❤

dear Jeffrey, I've been feeling anxiety for several days now.. I go on 2-3 nature walks a day, meditate, and do qi qong a few times daily. I did this video with you 2 times in a row. I feel a bit better and less tension in the chest. I find no matter how well I take care of myself the anxiety/depression seems to still "be around". so thanks for your teachings and l love your way of teaching... My dream: my goal in life: to feel a sense of peace inside that makes me feel more relaxed..Be well, be safe, peace, Mark

I have ADD and have finally come to realize that I have been living with chronic low grade anxiety all my life... and its flip side, depression from all that I have avoided due to it...I am now learning how to find, relax and calm all the sensations.... upset nerves were ever they may be triggered through out my body....checking for holding and tightness anywhere and consciously relax them....But i also think many people with chronic anxiety/depression may be trauma survivors ...and could use more specialized support

I have had anxiety for decades. Mornings are the worst time of day. When I get up and do Qi gong, it helps tremendously. This morning I did this routine and visualized very strongly pushing away the worry, and at the end I felt a sense of peace and love. I also practice reiki. Qi gong is part of my preparation before doing reiki as it helps clear my energy so I can focus my intention more strongly during reiki. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I keep sharing them on facebook and with family and friends. Now more than ever do people need this healing modality.

Thank you! I honestly think qi gong is one of the best tools to help adrenal fatigue. Horse stance is especially helpful. If you haven't already you may want to read the book "Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome" by Wilson. It is an easy read, and it can validate the symptoms you have and give you plenty of ideas to help heal. Here is a link amzn.to/2mFVzcX I'd love to visit Hungary someday, looks so beautiful!

Hello Jefrey- I am in an extreme anxiety situation and as soon as I am revisited by the patterns of thoughts that activate fear and stress I stop and do this whenever I can. It helps me feel relief and minimizes the intruder thoughts. I know that it isn't the situation, it's my response to it and this helps me have the perception of myself that I can control my response. Perfect for my recently diagnosed Kidney condition which left me totally exhausted. In August 2017 I found your Utube routines and they really work for me and are the best Qi Gong sequences I have experienced. I have been relying on Qi Gong learnt previously in class and online to keep me going since lung condition diagnosed 20 years ago though this is under control now thanks to breathing QI Gong. However your sequences which I am working through daily help me get out of my waking up negativity as life problems just keep coming at me. So thank you. The energy from your Utube routines have given me amazing days in my retirement which I never experienced even when younger, am now 78 yrs. These keep me out of hospital and away from the doctors surgery which confused and frustrated me since collapsing from exhaustion at 57 years. Many thanks.

Ok so my experience:i did feel a lightness after the first three positions. and after the routine i felt light and open. i went to Qi Gong here in my home town twice/ i have some personally challenges so i stopped going. but those two times , the next days were pretty amazing. i shared it with the instructor. There was an openness and grounded joy that was present throughout the day. it worked for my anxiety while swimming. At present i have a flu and a very tight chest and sinuses stuffy. i feel some lightness or openness. but maybe i am someone who feels it the next day. i'm not sure. i do feel some sense of vitality. will get back to you on that. i will be practising using this video for the rest of the week. I am doing a partial home Mindfulness Awareness Retreat. it includes sitting, mindful tasks, study, eating Fresh fruits and veggies and juices and water. I am not suppose to be using any technology during this. LOL! This is a good cheat though. :). Until tomorrow.

The first time I did this one with you I was so relaxed I missed the very fun hairdo that appeared midway through; next time I was putting it to memory and caught it. The belly laugh gave the stress and extra push out. Thanks.

i haven't been here for quite some time. I broke my knee when I slipped on ice. But I'm back and so happy to be doing your routines again.

Oh no! My knee hurts just thinking about that! Yes, we are always creating routines and new videos in the Communi Qi, but we are not as consistent with youtube. Thanks for your comment and I hope your recovery is speedy so you can get back to running around 💃⛹

Before I threw my overpriced laptop across the room, I decided to try this qigong routine. Frustration is exasperating because it's not about the big worries. It's all the little stuff--the forgotten password, the line at the post office, the slowpoke driver in front of you when you're already late. I can feel it build up like toxic smoke until my head is ready to fly off. (I'm not being literal, of course.) This routine helped me release a lot of that frustration, and I think I'll repeat it in a few hours. Yes, that's how frustrated I feel. Your videos are helpful, easy to follow, and effective. Plus, you have a warm, easygoing manner (and a sweet sense of humor) that makes qigong seem less mysterious and more doable. So I'm doing it and loving it. Thank you!

Thx so much, Jeff, for this and all your videos. I caught a bad case of Delta in Nov - lasted 2 months. Still dealing with covid-related anxiety, not about specific things, but a constant general feeling of anxiety in my brain vs specific issues. I like this routine since it deals with breathing. Is it a coincidence that I did a lot of yawning while doing it? I enjoy your videos - they got me started doing QG daily when the pandemic started over 2 yrs ago (only missed 3 days, one of which was my worst covid day). Along with exercise, walking, Zumba, creativity, etc., QG keeps me going! Thank you again!

Thank you. I had an accident which left me with a lot of anxiety and someone suggest Qigong to help release that PTSD. Thank you again. I will practice these moves along with meditation
