How does pricing, MSRP and LTV work on new motorhomes? Let’s say that I’m buying a motorhome with a MSRP of 300k but negotiate the sales price to 240k. Wouldn’t that 60k equity count as a “down payment” and give you 80% loan-to-value? Is it a possibility to write the deal that way?

It does not work that way with RV Lending. I like the logic, but it does not work out that way

The more you put down, the more "skin in the game" you're demonstrating to the lender. If you have a lot of skin in the game, you're less likely to walk away from the loan, so the less risk you are and the lower your interest rate will be.

Student loans do not count as installment loans.

Ok help me out here. I have two homes at$550.000, two car loans at $65,000, score at 685 and six car loans paid off early. Is a 200 to a 250 loan possible?

Probably. I would say if you’re putting a Big chunk down…you have a good shot. Most likely your loan will be closer to $120,000. However when you get over $200k you will need some assets besides your home. 401k, bank records showing you have that amount in assets. The more you put down, the easier it will be to
