I have found 4 things have greatly improved the way my clothes look and how they make me feel. First is, like you said, taking the time each morning to prepare to meet the day...personal grooming, hair, makeup, and nails. Second is taking time attending to personal mental/physical health through meditation, yoga, journaling, and approaching the day with gratitude. This great affects the way you walk and carry yourself throughout the day. Another is, comfortable undergarments and shape wear. There is nothing that can ruin your day quicker than a bra causing you such pain that when you get in your car, rip it off cursing violently while throwing it with great force and hatred into the back seat of the car yelling..”I can’t even look at you right now!!!!” Being in agony from uncomfortable undergarments will definitely reflect on your facial expression! The fourth is, have a good tailor/seamstress. Due to my height (4’11”) and body shape, most off the rack clothing just do not completely flatter me. A little tuck here and there, or a professional hem can make a world of difference in the way clothing will grace your particular figure. I have fallen in love with a particular item, but found that one thing about that just doesn’t work for me. I prefer a more open neckline on my tops, so I take it to my tailor and have her make the appropriate alterations....easy, peasy...I’m a happy girl!!! I found a cute blazer that fit me well except it came down way below my hips...not working for me!Took it to the shop and had her take off about 5” inches or so...now I LOVE it!!! Oh, and one more...that is actually most important..when out and about...when passing by a reflective surface/window/mirror check your posture and your facial expression....a smile will do wonders for your overall appearance and how you project yourself to the world around you! Others greeted by a smile as you pass by can potentially change their day.

Hi well said 🙏 I only buy colours that look good on me . Most stores are merchandised in colour blocks. I go straight to my colours and walk past the rest . It’s always basics we wear the most . Quality doesn’t have to cost more money for basics in my opinion . Outer wear I find I often need to spend a bit of extra money , being Petite I want good fitting jackets and Blazers ...for Petites . Patterns agree, small florals are safer . Patterned scarves can be an option .

Great tips, especially for shopping for outfits rather than pieces. I have so many pieces in my wardrobe I absolutely love but have nothing to go with it. I find for myself it helps if I plan on a monthly, then weekly, then daily schedule. Considering the weather forecast and my activities. This will let me know what kind of footwear and how I need to do my hair. Also, planning my outfit the night before is a great stress reducer in the morning.

I work in a clothing store. The thing I notice all the time is poor fitting lingerie. Many times I have fitted a customer with a bra and asked them to try on their top with it on. The difference can be amazing.

I never met a trench coat or white button up shirt I didn’t like. If you are the kind of person that looks good in a hat, wear one when appropriate-it will get you noticed in a good way, and set you apart from other people, but it’s important to wear the hat and not let the hat wear you. If you’re not a hat person, having a signature piece/type of jewelry, or a red lip are also good basics to anchor or elevate any look. 😘

I loved that Dear Leone...thank you.....good reminders on creating outfits beforehand...it really is not easy sometimes to get dressed and it does not mater how much clothes you have ...I have to work on mine...and oh yes...those makeup techniques...I feel I still have not figure it out ever though I keep trying every day...getting close though..and that right shade of lipstick...omg..that took me trying a few of them to settle on pinks......I think that sticking to the colours that suits us( by colour theory) is such a great styling tip also...knowing your colours , tones..either in clothing or makeup..we save money bying ones do not bring our best features You have it right..and look so yuthfull....those killer legs of yours.....hug...Jana

My striped shirt is an oldie sorry from a label called Ketz-Ke www.ketz-ke.com and the earrings are from moochi www.moochi.co.nz - the earrings have sold out but I know for a fact they are being restocked so I will feature them on my channel when they are back in stock because I get SO many questions about them :) They are my absolute fave earrings :)

Thank you that's so kind. This may be quite a generalisation but apple body types generally have great legs so my advice is always play to your strengths so if you have great legs then show them off. Also it often pays to wear v-necklines so you don't look too top heavy. I also find wearing long necklaces or fine scarves (worn long and narrow) tend to draw the eye down the body and give the illusion of length. Also try and avoid anything that draws attention to your midriff or falls across your midriff (like a top) because the eye will be drawn to that part of your body and usually on an apple it is the widest part of your body. Anyway, I hope these few tips help - thanks for watching :)

The biker boots with the delicate midi skirt look terribly incongruous. I can understand a sixteen-year-old experimenting with that look, but on a grown woman, or worse, a mature woman, it just looks frumpy and tasteless. I like most of your advice and the outfits you wear, but not all. Some, like the aforementioned, or the ripped pants you showed, reek of someone trying desperately to look young-which in the end only makes them look older.
